One of my guilty pleasures is blood oranges.
It’s the flavor juice in my fridge, and my top choice for everything from margaritas to martinis…so of course I want to slather my body with it!
Pacifica Tuscan Blood Orange Body Butter is delicious – quite literally – and is super rich and nourishing.
The idea of a good body butter is one that provides hydration hours after your shower – this one is loaded with essential oils and completely gets the job done, but also smells amazing, and helps support my fantasy that I’m anywhere but here – as in a tropical …read more
LaLicious and all their delicious flavors

Lately, I’ve been discovering the LaLicious line of bath and body products, and my skin is super-happy to be acquainted. There’s a bunch of flavors, and each one smells sort of like dessert. (Which explains that name…)
My favorite would be the vanilla/brown sugar body scrub – but everything is made with this awesome whipped technique that includes coconut oil and oodles of vitamins and minerals -but anyway, since I’ve been testing their line, my skin is baby smooth and all those evil winter rough spots are disappearing before my eyes!

Tawaka “The Ball”
A powerful, antioxidant-rich, full-body cleansing scrub treatment.
With my current fixation with soaps, I was naturally drawn to this quaint bath product that I saw over at Sephora. Apart from it’s unique shape and over-all packaging, the exotic look made me want to get to know the product a bit better.
What it promises:
* buffs away dryness
* infuses your skin with the powerful antioxidant and purifying properties of a rare blend of wildcrafted Tawaka™ ingredients
* prepares pores for treatment while removing debris and refining surface texture
* your skin will glow with a velvety, satin, never-oily finish as it polishes and …read more

I love soap bars. I can’t really explain why. I guess taking showers or baths have something to do with it. I love trying out bars that will make these events luxuriously soothing and relaxing.
And one of the soap bars I recently tried is the Olay Body Ultra Moisture Soap with Shea Butter. It’s because I want to maximise the Olay Body In-Shower Body Lotion. It recommended that I either use the Olay body wash or this soap bar.
It’s not really that big. The pack included two (2) white bars. The actual soap box looked like this:

Earlier, I met up with my Artistry™ contact to get to know each other better. I had initially met her earlier this week at the opening ceremony of the Philippine Fashion Week.
In the middle of our exchange, we had, of course, talked more about Artistry™. One of the things I found out is a “must-try” rating that the brand’s spa collection has. She was basically mad about it. She had told me that she absolutely loves the scent, which was Pink Grapefruit, and the refreshing feeling after each use. She feels rejuvenated. Fortunately, we were close to Amway’s …read more

Calming Night™
Stress and sleep deprivation can hijack skin’s moisture.
Hence, Calming Night Body Wash. It’s a smoothing, soothing blend of Dove 1/4 moisture cream to renew the skin’s lost moisture and a sensuous fragrance to calm a tired soul.
Use nightly. In skincare — and in soul care — every night is everything.
My friends know just how much of a night person I am. I’m usually up at night and asleep during the day. Poses a bit of a dilemma when there’s an event scheduled in the morning, which I have to attend. I usually end up missing sleep then. …read more
Dove Soap, Gentle Exfoliating

Speaking of soaps, if there are luxury soaps to be had, there are economical ones. Of course, when I say economical that doesn’t mean we’re sacrificing the quality cuz, hey, we’re talking about something you use to take care of the largest organ of your body and general hygiene!
Dove is a brand that I’ve grown to trust. I love most of their bath products. I use Dove facial foams, liquid soap and soap bars. I always love how my skin feels and smells after every use. And I haven’t really experienced my skin drying from usage, hence, the trust.
I would …read more
