If you’ve been to an organic grocery lately, you probably know the antioxidant-rich Açaí is a Brazilian super-berry that is considered one of the healthiest fruits in existence.
What you may not know is that the oil derived from it has those same powerful antioxidants, and works to protects and rejuvenate the skin.
Fresh Sugar Açaí Body Scrub takes advantage of this oil and mixes it with a blend of cupuaçu seed butter, jojoba seed oil, and meadowfoam seed.
The result: My skin is super soft and silky, and probably pretty darn healthy, too!

Philosophy
Coconut Body Scrub
Get your skin silky smooth and ready to bare all with the Philosophy Coconut Hot Salt Bath and Shower Scrub. The gentle glycerin base of this tantalizing tropical scrub leaves skin feeling soft, never oily, and its natural extracts help moisturize and smooth skin while you exfoliate.
I remember telling you all about the Coconut Shampoo, Shower Gel, and Bubble Bath, which is a great all-in-one bath product for summer, last month, I knew I had to do the same when I came across this coconut-scented body smoothing scrub which is also from Philosophy. I reckon they’d be good together, yea?
Tawaka “The Ball” by OJON

A powerful, antioxidant-rich, full-body cleansing scrub treatment.
With my current fixation with soaps, I was naturally drawn to this quaint bath product that I saw over at Sephora. Apart from it’s unique shape and over-all packaging, the exotic look made me want to get to know the product a bit better.
What it promises:
* buffs away dryness
* infuses your skin with the powerful antioxidant and purifying properties of a rare blend of wildcrafted Tawaka™ ingredients
* prepares pores for treatment while removing debris and refining surface texture
* your skin will glow with a velvety, satin, never-oily finish as it polishes and smoothes
* helps prepare skin for self-tanning and post-bathing treatments
The rare, wildcrafted Tawaka™ Cacao blend in “The Ball” contains the same antioxidant amount as 2,834 lbs of blueberries. Impressive?
Everything sounds good to me. However, I wonder why they never used the word “exfoliate” in their copy. Also, I wonder how long this ball lasts. Will it easily dissolve when wet? Will it moisturise the skin? Or will it leave your skin feeling squeaky clean, you know, feels like it’s tight? I guess I really need to give this product a test run in order to satisfy my curiosity. Ah, well. I reckon I’ll just have to see.
Tip: Buff the ball in a circular motion over the body to help stimulate circulation.
It’s currently priced at $65 over at Sephora.

Ellen Knows How to Spa Beautifully

Otherwise, she wouldn’t be managing the newest blog that b5media just launched, right? The Beauty & Style Channel family is definitely still growing!
In the ideal world, I would’ve wished I’d spend weekends going on luxurios spa places like the popular one in Tagaytay called Nurture’s Spa. Hours and hours filled with body scrubs, massages and foot spa. That would’ve been divine! But — reality check — I’m slouched in front of the laptop, tapping on the keyboard, carefully dishing out my thoughts on relaxation but here I am tensed from wondering on the next possible time I could actually drink a refreshing Iced Tea. Gawd. It’s stifling in this room.
Anyway, if you, my beauties, would want to know everything about spa and spa treatments, join Ellen Mirza over at Spa Beautifully. She’ll point you at the right direction. Probably make you green with envy, too — with all that glorious spa experiences! Dear me. I really think I should schedule myself a massage soon. I need to release some tension! Gah.
