October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and while you are busy picking up all of the cute pink appliances and lip glosses on the market this month, don’t forget to make an appointment for a mammogram, if you are of that age. Regardless of your age, you need a regular schedule of breast self exams if you do not currently have one. Have you all noticed the plethora of pink products out there this year? My mother and I were at Bed, Bath & Beyond this past weekend and saw the “breast cancer pink” KitchenAid Mixers, blender, knife set – and tons of other bakeware all fashioned in pink, and I hope donating a significant percentage of their profits towards Breast Cancer research or awareness.
