I am a super-huge fan of the Purple Lab team, and am excited about anything new from them – because it’s always awesome.
So, when I got an email they were doing something new for October – Breast Cancer Awareness Month – I was all over it.
In the announcement, Purple Lab NYC “creatix” Karen Robinovitz tells the story of last year meeting new friends Malaak, Andrea, and Hayley who lost their good friend to Triple Negative Breast Cancer, a rare and aggressive subtype. Her friends went on to form the Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundationsm to bring awareness to and …read more

As is always my focus in October, partially because I am a “passionately pink” kind of gal, but mostly because it is important for you and I to keep on top of our beautiful bodies, I plan to promote breast cancer awareness. I do love pink (raaaally, I do), and I take this time every year to stock up on things I need (kitchen wares, cute t-shirts, tomato soup…yum), but as well try out some things that I have had my eyeballs on who have convinced me …read more

Do I wear pink more often than a 38 yr old woman should? You bet! And it is always a great thing when I have an excuse to do it, cause you know I am passionate about my pink! This year The Susan G. So what do you have to do to join the fun? That’s pretty easy – you pick a day to …read more

Have you all noticed the plethora of pink products out there this year? My mother and I were at Bed, Bath & Beyond this past weekend and saw the “breast cancer pink” KitchenAid Mixers, blender, knife set – and tons of other bakeware all fashioned in pink, and I hope donating a significant percentage of their profits towards Breast Cancer research or awareness. Anyway, you know I fell in love, but that is better left to talk about at somewhere like Cooking-Gadgets, I suppose. The beauty folks have come out in full force this year with tools, …read more
