The following is a true story.
Last week, to kick off Fashion Week, the fabulously famous celebrity stylist Robert Verdi invited an intimate group of journalists to his penthouse for breakfast. I was among them, and super excited to break bread with the man who routinely builds Eva Longoria’s (among others) face.
I rode the elevator toward the top of his posh Chelsea building, and got off. I saw before me a cluster of familiar faces waving and smiling. Happily, I waved back and walked toward them. Instantly, I walked face first into a glass door.
