My bestie works is currently working in the lingerie industry, and she will tell you that a proper foundation is intrinsic to everything from posture to looking your thinnest.
Well, I agree. But I think foundation doesn’t end there in importance. I think the right foundation on your face is equally paramount.
Right now, on my face is NARS Sheer Matte Foundation.
It has a sheer glow finish (hence the name), and has buildable coverage without being weighty. This helps it to do the job it’s meant to do: it enhances, not masks, your complexion.
The result? I’m feeling pretty luminous!

During the summer months, I try to stay away from heavier coverages, and lean toward tinted moisturizers. Sometimes, though, skin issues (i.e. PMS) rear their ugly head (no pun intended) and you need a bit more.
It was perfect timing that Koh Gen Do sent me their Maifanshi Moisture Foundation.
It’s super gentle, and helps to seal in our natural moisture, and despite light really helps provide full coverage in my problem areas.
