First Aid Beauty’s Ultra Repair Cream is not sexy. Neither is the packaging.

However, it is a thick, rich, and really penetrates the skin.

I have very dry skin – and it gets worse in the winter. I also have a touch of irritant eczema, and it’s great for that, as well as dermatitis and keratosis pilaris.

It’s made with all the things our moms always said was great for moisturizing irritated skin, stuff like oatmeal, shea butter, soothing eucalyptus oil, and ceramides. It really makes skin feel different – and better – pretty much instantly.

It also has an Antioxidant Booster that helps to protect skin against free radical damage – I love that as well. (Plus, it’s good for face AND body – I don’t have many creams I can say that about!)

M·A·C DSquared Tinted Lip Conditioner

So, my lips have been SUPER dry lately – like, ridiculously – and that’s not sexy.

I was seeking a quick fix, and I found one from my favorite brand – MAC’s new DSquared Tinted Lip Conditioner is just awesome.

Since it’s MAC, it has great shades and awesome packaging. That’s a given.

But the product is fab too, which too is pretty much a MAC given. I just used a few strokes and my lips stayed moist and hydrated for hours – and the coverage is just enough, not too heavy, and not too fleeting.

Give it a try – because dry lips are so not worth kissing.

Maintain a Dry Existence!

As gross as it is to admit, during the summer (and just about any time of year), we ALL sweat.

Dermadoctor’s Med e Tate is actually super simple – all you have to do is stroke a towelette!

The ingredients are actually sort of similar to the topical results of Botox, and helps avoid using stuff like topical prescriptions, prescription meds, or the aforementioned Botox. (And seriously, who wants to deal with stuff like shots or invasive procedures if they don’t have to?)

This isn’t for the girl who gets a little bit sweaty after pilates – this is for the serious sweater. (As in one who sweats, not who wears a seriously styling sweater…which too may make you sweat, but probably not excessively.)

Med e Tate contains potency antiperspirant available, but also plant extracts, to help maintain dryness. Plus they are little packets that look almost like those Wet Ones thingies…granted, for very different purposes.
