Mario Badescu Skin Care Sale

I’m constantly writing in my fashion blogs about various sample sales that are going on, online and off.
Every now and then, though, I learn about a really cool beauty-related one, and I jump right on it. As all of you know, beauty items can get expensive – especially the good ones! When I find a good price on my favorite items, it’s the best time ever to stock up.
Right now at HauteLook, Mario Badescu Skin Care is being marked down around 20% on tons of key items. This is a line that has been around for decades, and is known …read more

Avocado Skin Mask

Do you have dry skin? This facial mask made with avocado will hydrate, nourish and rejuvenate your skin.

Beat an egg yolk until frothy
Mash in 1/2 of an avocado until well blended
Apply to your clean face and neck
Allow to set for 30 minutes
Rinse with cool water

For oily skin, use the white of an egg instead of the yolk, plus a teaspoon of lemon juice. It will leave your face refreshed and smooth.

Debunking 8 Myths about Professional Facials

I received this interesting press release this morning, from Liz Quesnelle of LeBon Visage Corrective Skin Care and Cosmetics, a spa located in Chicago, IL. As much as I do my own treatments at home, there is nothing better and more relaxing to me (better than a massage!) than a good facial from a qualified and talented esthetician. If anyone knows one here in College Station, Texas, I wish you would let me know, I have been less than satisfied! Maybe I will head to Chicago.
Anyway, Liz has presented 8 myths about facials, and I …read more
