Lavender-Honey Milk Bath

When I moved into my new apartment a few weeks ago, the most exciting element was the old-fashioned bath tub. I can now take a fabulously luxurious bath (complete with vino and music, of course), any time I want!
I did want the bath to be as enriching as possible, though. And so I found this “recipe” with the help of the National Honey Board. It’s totally worth a try!
Lavender-Honey Milk Bath
-Makes enough for 2 baths -
Ingredients:
3 Tbsp. dried lavender flowers*
1-1/2 cups whole milk, cream or combination
1/3 cup honey

Green Honey Glow Mask

As this week is Earth Day, I’m trying to embrace some earth-friendly beauty tips.
Nothing says eco-beauty more than using all-natural ingredients to create an awesome face mask!
Want to try it at home? You’ll need:
4 cups fresh spinach
1 cup fresh mint
3 Tbsp. honey
1-inch piece ginger
1 ripe banana
2 egg whites
Directions:
Rinse spinach thoroughly in colander. Cut and peel ginger, set aside. In food processor or blender combine spinach, mint and ginger. Blend on low setting. Honey Facial Toner

Does your skin need some extra care, and you don’t want to fork over the dough for yet another pricey department store product? Go to your pantry!
Check out this awesome recipe for a facial toner made out of ingredients in all of our kitchens – and it works great!
Ingredients:
1 Tbsp. honey
1 apple, peeled and cored
Directions:
In blender, puree honey with a peeled, cored apple. Smooth over face; leave on 15 minutes. Rinse with cool water.
