Skin that is dried out looks aged – and as I am just hitting 30, I don’t want to look any older than I already am! As it’s become healthier, I am looking younger (if not young, sigh. Night Rainew has HydroPeptides in it, which are 100% organic and said to help get rid of fine lines and wrinkles. Primary reason is to gain weight and, hopefully, start living a healthier lifestyle. We all know that once we feel good about our bodies, we’ll look good, right? And I’m not just talking about weight and vitals, ok. It’s if you feel healthy and are healthy then a lot of positive things will also come your way. That’s what I like to believe anyway.

For all you guys who are Fitness First members, you know that they provide a starter kit for each. It has the backpack, towel, headset, and the no-spill water bottle. Yes, a water bottle. I happen to think it’s thoughtful of them to supply a must-have gym kit. It helps give the member an idea of the important things you need why exercising. The headset, btw, is a side thingie so you can listen to the audio of Cable tellies and movies that are scattered all around the building, which will entertain you while you do cardio and stuff.

Going back to the point of the post, we all know that we perspire when we exercise AND exercising in an air-conditioned room will somehow mask the thirst. At least that’s what I observed, cooler temperatures have less moisture in the air (feel free to correct me). It’s just that I’ve noticed that I often find my mouth dry up quicker when I’m in a cool place or country. That’s why I put emphasis on the need to keep yourself hydrated at all times. Thank goodness for the free water bottle.

I’m not saying it will improve the moisture state of your skin but it certainly will make sure that you’re healthy. We wouldn’t want you to suffer dehydration now, would we? If you’re dehydrated, I reckon your skin will be affected, too, right? I guess I’m just applying common sense. IMHO, a dehydrated person cannot have a radiant, healthy and great looking skin, right? Also, if you keep yourself hydrated, you’ll have more liquid to perspire, which will aid in the cleansing your skin. Quite simple reasoning, right? At least, that’s my opinion.

Anyway, I have an 18-month Lifestyle membership to consume. All I need to do now is to try and fit it in my current schedule. First day didn’t turn out too good. I wonder if tomorrow will be a better one. Ah, well. We’ll soon see how this *healthy* endeavour will turn out.

Laneíge
Water Sleeping Pack Plus

A feather-light, leave-on gel mask applied just before bedtime. Water Sleeping Pack Plus penetrates the skin immediately upon application; infusing it with a concentrated supply of moisture while you sleep. Skin is lustrously revitalized the next day!

Active ingredients Vitamin E Acetate (stabilised Vitamin E) protects the skin against UV damage and environmental stresses while yeast extract Toniskin encourages the skin to mend and tone itself. Bio HE, a unique ingredient derived from collagen which holds up to several hundred times its own weight in moisture, feeds the skin a continuous supply of moisture.

<ins>Suggested Application</ins>:

After washing the face apply the skin refiner and emulsion.

Take the proper amount (2.5cm in diameter) and evenly spread it over the entire face.

Leave it on for 20 minutes. To make sure that the mask is completely absorbed.

Go to bed leaving it intact.

The following morning, use a usual cleansing foam to rinse the face.

After washing the face apply the skin refiner and emulsion.

Some have swore to its effectiveness in hydrating their skin, leaving their skin softer and effects can be seen the morning after. It’s suggested that you apply it 2 or 3 times a week. They claim that it doesn’t cause breakouts and is safe on almost all skin types.

This foaming facial cleanser works into a rich lather that deeply cleans and moisturizes your skin. Gently cleanses tired, stressed skin and leaves your face refreshed and hydrated.

I’ve been using this facial foam for weeks now. Actually, I use two different foams, one is for exfoliation purposes from Pond’s (which I’ll probably tell you guys about in a later post) and this one from Dove, which mainly addresses my need to moisturise, and hydrate my skin. I reckon I already mentioned just how frequent I wash my face in a day. With the rate I’m going, I don’t want to scrub my skin too much with the other facial scrub that’s why I opt to have one that doesn’t have the beads in it.

I’m a Dove user. I have their exfoliating beauty bars and shower creams plus I also have their moisturising cream bars on top of the facial foam. I’m sort of used to using the bars so the idea of trying out their facial foam was a given. I wasn’t disappointed.

This foaming facial cleanser is said to contain pure cucumber extract, calming green tea, moisturizing cream (it moisturizes your skin as you cleanse), gentle formula with vitamins A & E, minerals and anti-oxidants (leaving you with healthy glowing skin). It’s also Hypo-allergenic and non-comedogenic, which is suitable to sensitive skin.

Green Tea is said to aid in neutralizing the spread of free radicals (source), on top of its soothing effect and the use of extracts like the Cucumber normally means it allows its nutrition to be absorbed by the skin. The presence of the moisturising cream is vital to the prevention of the skin drying out.

To be quite frank, it truly does feel like I’m moisturising my skin while washing. I love the fresh and calm feeling it leaves on me and my skin.

<ins>Bento Beauty Tip</ins>: Daily use of exfoliating facial cleansers are alright, keep the frequency to once a day. Use moisturising and hydrating facial cleansers for other washes.

If there’s something I want you guys to know, it’s the importance of taking care of the eyes and the skin around the eye area. Apart from using non-harsh chemicals on the skin, it’s proper rest and non-abuse of our eyes. That’s probably why I was curious about the Japanese brand, boscia, and this particular product. No preservatives and eye treatment.

Let me know if you get to try it. I’d love to hear about your experience.
