I am not alone – all of us women spend our entire life trying to propel our best arse forward, and will often spend way too much money on jeans in order to make it closer to a reality.

Once upon a time, a guy I had a thang for told me I had a great ass. (Am I allowed to type ass here? I guess I’m about to find out…)

Instantly, I started to walk a little differently, and accentuate my bootylicious assets as much as possible.

I am not alone – all of us women spend our entire life trying to propel our best arse forward, and will often spend way too much money on jeans in order to make it closer to a reality.

Now, one may wonder why, in a beauty blog, I am speaking of jeans…but I maintain, a good pair of jeans is intrinsic to feeling beautiful!

And thus, why I am obsessed with Joe’s Jeans – their Honey Mulholland cut is everything I love: all-over deep dark color and a classic boot cut. They are great for dressing up or for a casual day at the coffee house. And, most importantly, they make my butt look great. This is accomplished by subtle bronze stitching on front and back which matches the rivets and buttons. The back pockets are embroidered and have outlined stitching making them stand out from the rest of the jean. It’s brilliant craftsmanship that even NASA would be proud to call their own.

As this is the season of giving, I want to give the greatest gift of all to my readers: a great ass. And thus, I will offer it in the same way it was bestowed upon me – a pair of Joe’s Jeans. Three readers will receive the pair of their choice (and that also goes for men’s or kid’s styles if you prefer). Whether you have traits you are trying to accentuate or diminish, there will be a style for you! Check out all the styles at www.joesjeans.com/shop/home.php

To have your chance to win – tell me your sexiest asset, and how you maintain it!

Deadline is December 19!

Um, I wouldn’t. Maybe if I looked like Giselle in my jeans and I HAD an extra ten grand to blow, but sadly, that just isn’t the case with me. *sigh* But I will sure admire them on you though (and yep, be a little jealous too, cause they are right cute)! If you’re interested, these jeans have just launched today – they are from Key Closet (who I love!) and are premium denim (duh!), with over 1000 Swarovski crystals, and 1 carat diamonds on each back pocket. Wow.

And just so you don’t feel just completely over the top decadent (and if you need just a little push over the edge to be convinced that you need these glitzy britches), a whopping 30% of the price of the jeans will be donated to help build primary schools for children in Kampala, Uganda. Good stuff. The donation from just one pair of jeans will probably go a long way. Do let me know if you get these or see them somewhere! You can buy them at eModa.com!

Well, we moan and we groan and we bitch, but the skinny jean is officially back, and not just for a short stint. I was loving my rather loose (well, not anymore) jeans, and trying desperately to ignore the skinny jean trend – but I guess I will once again be thankful for Lycra and will bust out (of?) some skinny jeans. Here is the scoop, from Fashion Wire Daily:

“The runways for Fall ‘06 showed volume on top with a narrow bottom,” said June Rau, Fashion Director for Nordstrom, from her office in Seattle where she sees first-hand how customers are flocking to the trend.

“Fashion overall is getting really cleaned up,” said Rau. “There is a return to tailoring, a lot of the ‘bling’ has turned into prints, and the look is sleek and clean. The skinny jean is part of this new movement in fashion, and we’re going to see different variations of that shape.”

The slim shape, which provides balance to the voluminous silhouette of princess sleeves and billowing shirts on top, can be threatening to average consumer, but Rau insists there is no need to crash diet before making a purchase.

“I think there is a lot of fear among customers, but there really is a jean for everybody.”

Fear – ha ha ha! Are you scared? I, for one, am happy to see a little less bling, but not sure I am willing to trade that for uncomfortable clothes. I must be getting old. *sigh*

Image from Textually.org (go read this article, it is kinda funny and although it is from last year, connects the skinny jean to electronics in a rather humourous way)
