Anna revealed that she’s a fan of The Body Shop’s lip and cheek tint. I share the same love for the lip tint but I, unfortunately, haven’t tried the cheek tint yet. Eye makeup can be such a tricky thing. And applying on single eyelids can even be trickier. There have been friends who have come up to me and ask for tips on how to apply eye makeup for single eyelids. I have to admit, I had found it hard to explain how to apply the sort of makeup that will highlight the beauty of such eyes and mask its imperfections.

Did you see how she just focused on eye makeup? Applying that liquid eyeliner and mascara did wonders to the look. The makeup merely made her look fresh and not overly made up. Very natural, indeed!
Remember the first tip — Cleanse, tone and moisturise!
Concealer application tip: Use the ring finger and apply the concealer lightly and in a rolling motion.
Rule of thumb for eyebrows: three shades lighter than your hair colour.

Being a freelance makeup artist, I get to experience applying makeup on different sorts of facial structures. However, if there’s something I’m used to, it’s Asian skin and features.
