Mary Louise Parker is pretty much always adorable, but tonight in that ridiculously hot deep purple Zac Posen dress? I’m just wanting to be her.
If you want to steal her look, her face was done by Tina Turnbow for Maybelline New York, who sought to play up the colors in Mary-Louise’s dress by giving her a dramatic yet classic smoky eye, blushing pink cheeks and nude lips.

When I started using makeup (this was way back 1995 but only started on my makeup stash 1999), one of the staple beauty brands you can find sitting atop my vanity table would be Maybelline New York. I’ve considered it the more affordable makeup brand without sacrificing quality too much. I’ve used their eyeshadows, powder foundations, eyeliners and their waterproof mascaras have been a former favourite.

Next on my list of makeup must-haves is the blush. I reckon that’s why I had gone great lengths (distance-wise) to get the NARS Super O and I’ve been shopping for other fabulous options for a blush.
