I’m still working with the nude-ish tone when it comes to nail polishes. I had considered sporting a darker one but finally deciding on this soft brown-sorta-pink-ish hue from ORLY Nail Lacquer called Sand Castle (Shimmer).
The last nail polish I had on didn’t really last that long since I’ve been “roughing it” during the trip. Hey, I carried around 17kgs worth of luggage down a flight of narrow stairs and such. Ha. After my affair with dark nail polish, I’m now venturing into more nude-ish shades. Quite practical really since I am now headed to Vietnam and Cambodia right this very minute and will be there for the rest of this week. I treated myself to a manicure and pedicure last night, for both hygienic and aesthetic purposes. The trip I’m taking is a bit rugged so I need a polish that’s not too bold and is easy to maintain. I mean, if my nails do chip or something, it won’t show that much unlike if I had dark polish on.

Oh, the vanities of women. What we do on our bodies sometimes. Painting our faces and nails in various colours. It’s a little funny when you think about it. LOL.
Anyway, I’ve been quite hooked on dark nail polish lately and I just wanted to show you guys what I had the manicurist do on mine last week.
