While I was sitting in the salon last Tuesday afternoon, they had the telly on and the Pantene TV advert came on. Imagine my surprise when twas Kris Aquino’s voice and face that I heard and saw on the screen. Apparently, Kris is also endorsing the new Pantene Hairfall Control and based on my readings, she’s been part of the Pantene’s Most Beautiful roster since 2006 (correct me if I’m wrong).
I was thrown out-of-the-loop on this one. I really had no idea.
Perhaps it’s due to the fact that my mind was set that the current line-up only includes the …read more

The highlight of the Pantene Pro V Dare to Get Wet Event was the presence of the Pantene’s Most Beautiful Women (as seen on the photo, left to right): Ruffa Gutierrez, Judy Ann Santos, Claudine Barretto, and Gretchen Barretto.
Ah, the surreal feeling one would get when they gaze upon celebrities. It’s mystifying. But what I can’t seem to get over is the fact that these women are such gorgeous creatures. Gawd. It’s like describing them as beautiful is just not enough. They’ve managed to stun the crowd for a minute when they stepped on stage before everyone remembered why they …read more

Though not entirely new to the entire blogging scene, I’m still quite new at the whole beauty blogging thing. I still can’t believe the sort of attention “we” get from the beauty industry. From getting offers for product samples to invitations to attend beauty events like the one I attended last night.
I still often ask myself what do I do in these sort of things. Will I really have the chance to get up close and personal with brand managers, product endorsers or even get to sample the product itself? Sadly, the answer to that is no. Not exactly. …read more

Interestingly enough, Monday night is reserved for another mover and shaker in the shampoo department, at least, in the Philippine market. It’s Pantene Pro-V as they ask the question, “When water is your greatest enemy.. would you dare to get wet?”
Four Asian beauties, crowned as Pantene’s Most Beautiful Women, answer “Yes!” to the question. They will reveal the one reason why they all dare to get wet. Who are these Asian beauties? None other than — Gretchen Baretto, Ruffa Gutierrez, Claudine Baretto, and Judy Ann Santos.
If you’ll be there, say hi.
