Did you all see the New York Times article at the end of the week last week about – well – the bridezilla’s from hell? I don’t know any nicer way to put it, really. Mercy, is really all I have to say. If its not bad enough that your bestest friend is making you buy an ugly, expensive dress that you will never wear again, apparently brides all over are demanding that their bridesmaids, mothers, mothers-in-law have botox. And matching spray tans. And boob jobs for crying out loud.

Back-door Cosmetic Surgery Dangers

I am not a proponent of plastic surgery – really elective surgery of any kind in this day is a danger not worth taking, in my eyes, and from my experience. I have met far too many people in the last few years who have come far too close to death from these procedures. Plastic Surgery to further your career?

Monster.com recently ran a poll that asked “Do you think having plastic surgery or cosmetic dental work would help advance your career?”
More than half the nearly 22,000 people who answered the question, 53 percent, said yes. Less than a third, 31 percent, said it would not. [source]
