eBeautyDaily

I am so good.

I am so good.

Two perfect resolution days. I got this groovy new elliptical machine (yep, hubby, I chose this instead of the treadmill), and am 2 for 2 (days of working out. w00t!

I have some serious poundage to work off, from (how many is it now?) about 5 attempts over the past 2 years at quitting smoking, but I am geared up to do it. I have also been drinking my water, taking my vitamins and washing my face every night. Good for me. How are you doing on your resolutions?

Dreaming of Jane Iredale’s Gold Dust

I just woke up from a nice morning nap, and had the craziest dream – I dreamed I received this glorious birthday package from Jane Iredale (my current love – have you seen this – it is my FAVORITE), of the most amazing goodies, and then this group of strange girls were at my house, one was busy hitting on my husband, and the other one told me as she was leaving with a giant duffle bag stuffed full on her shoulder, “if I saw anything I liked, I just took it. I will bring it back.” And …read more

Oh, Beautiful Stress

Am I insane for going to my 20th high school reunion? Maybe. Why do we put ourselves through the stress?
I am sitting here watching my very favorite movie, The Full Monty – and if you have never seen it before, it is the story of 5 “regular” men who are down on their luck and decide to do a Chippendale’s type show to make some money. And it is oh-so hilarious – rent it if you have never seen it before, you will have to watch it a few times to get all of the …read more

Joey New York on QVC

I am being a lazy bum today – well not really – my mother is coming on Saturday, and my house is a wreck (story of my life), so I have that kind of stuff on my mind rather than beauty or MRSA or Brad Pitt, like usual. LOL I am so deep. Ha. Anyway, I wanted to not miss getting this bit of news in, as I dearly love Joey New York for helping me get through the hard times of quitting smoking:
Joey Chancis, the founder and CEO of Joey New York will be featured …read more

Cosmeceuticals – Skin Medica

The latest round of skin care that has struck my fancy is a dermatologist developed product, by SkinMedica. (Remember talking about cosmeceuticals? I love them so!) You know of my woes with my blackheads and my oily skin and the fact that I refuse to give up coffee and I have been stinking at getting all of my water in lately. Ha ha. So that leaves me on a search for the perfect skin care line that can tackle my problems even though I am very resistant to change in lifestyle. C’mon, I quit …read more

A beautiful day of catching up!

A beautiful day of catching up!

I am going to sit here today until I am caught up. I have quite a few things that are time sensitive and have been hanging around here, and I have been too lazy/preoccupied/selfcentered/delusional to get them done. Call me out if you don’t see 4 posts from me come around today. There I have said it. Time to go to work.
Oh – guess what? Today is my one month non-smoking anniversary. I joined this group – QuitNet – and they sent me an email this morning to remind me of …read more

Crossing a rickety non- smoking bridge

Crossing a rickety non- smoking bridge

I am now 22 days into this non smoking thing (lets just call a kettle what it is, ok?) and I feel like I have crossed some sort of a bridge – rickety as it may be – and I am a little ready to get back to some sort of normalcy around here. My husband was home this weekend for the first time in 2 weeks, and I could tell, really, how bitchy I was. I sort of feel like that ol’ laid back gal I once was is not coming back, and she is being replaced …read more

The Campaign to Eliminate Lip Wrinkles

Oh, just an update here – I am still well on my campaign – 16 days and counting in fact. I would like to have a new lip wrinkle, but alas there are none around, and I am not going to buy a whole pack of lip wrinkles just for one. My creative juices are very lightly flowing, but I still feel nowhere near back to normal, and in addition, I can’t sleep at night to save my life. I have tried sleeping pills, exercise, reading, working SuDoku puzzles – everything I know – but still don’t …read more

I have survived!

I have survived!

I am sure you will all be happy to know that I have survived. LOL I had a REALLY bad day yesterday, but somewhere around 7 or 8pm I came back to life. Stay tuned for yesterdays planned posts, and if you are thinking about quitting – it is a good time to give it a whirl. Once you get past the 3rd day, it is no problem (I can say this, cause this isn’t my first rodeo). But now I have to find a nice way to dump all of my smoking …read more

Day 3 Blahs

I had big plans around here today in the way of posts, but I am on day 3 of the Campaign to Eliminate Lip Wrinkles, and it isn’t going so swell today. I am going back to bed for a little while, and hopefully when I wake up, I will feel better.
