Free LORAC Baked Bronzer or Lip Shine

As I was saying – about ten minutes ago – I love gifts with purchase. Even cooler…gifts with no purchase.
The next time you’re browsing through Sephora inside JCPenney at the mall, be sure to take this printable coupon with you.
With the coupon, you get a free sample of your choice of either LORAC TANtalizer Baked Bronzer, or a Mini Couture Shine Liquid Lipstick in Glam. I pretty much think you can’t go wrong – so I say, just, go back twice.

Sephora Friends and Family Event

I’m going to share something very special and magical with all of you…
Get ready…
It’s coming…
SEPHORA FRIENDS AND FAMILY TIME.
As a beauty editor, I very seldom buy products – I’m always reviewing them! However, there’s one time a year that I stock up on my tried-and-true favorites that I just can’t live without. And that would be now.
If you visit Sephora.com right now, you will get 20% off ANY ORDER OF ANY AMOUNT with code FF2009. Any fellow Sephora worshipers know they do not have sales/coupons often…so when they do, it’s simply silly not to take advantage!
The sale ends November 1…so …read more

Huge Sephora Sale

Ladies, ladies, ladies, happy Labor Day weekend!
If you are all partied out, and ready for some serious shopping, Sephora is my favorite place to start. If I wasn’t excited enough about free shipping, free samples, and free returns, tons of stuff at up to 75 off was enough to get my blood all a-boil.
Some fun choices: The Juicy Loves Sephora Bowler lip gloss charm (original price was $58, now it’s $29)! And you know that fabulous LORAC Summer of Style Makeup Collection? It’s normally $100….but is now $32!
Also, if you buy the Michael Kors 1.7 or 3.4 oz EDP Spray …read more

My New Concealer Discovery

Great concealers are hard to come by, especially for me.
I’m super fair-skinned, so what appears to blend in and conceal on others stands out like a street lamp on me.
Make Up For Ever’s HD Invisible Cover Concealer is completely oil-free and delivers a medium coverage that is just enough to cover the slight blemishes and blotchy spots my lifestyle (i.e. living on martinis and appetizers), affords me.
And even better, while it does all that, it’s invisible! It has a  soft-focus, I love to use it when brightening the eye area, for that always-coveted  radiant look – too, lacking, with my …read more

I Heart Sephora

I Heart Sephora

Much love to Sephora’s fabulous Beauty and the Blog for mentioning eBeautyDaily today!
I shall share an excerpt:
That means the milisecond DuWop launched a Twilight-inspired ruby red lip stain, we bit. But if you think Sephora girls are too preoccupied with finding men whose skin glitters to accurately review a lip kisser, we’re offering up a third opinion from Aly Walansky from eBeautyDaily who hasn’t even read Twilight (scandal!), yet is still addicted to the red:
Based on the sexily-bloody movie Twilight, and from the same people who brought us from the very awesome DuWop, Twilight Venom is a shimmering, crimson-colored …read more

Double-Ended Perfect Complexion Brush

It’s usually my goal to get brushes that can multi-task, so one that has two ends? Well, that makes things even easier!
Sephora Brand Double-Ended Perfect Complexion Brush is fabulous – it’s a super high-quality two-in-one brush that can do foundation on one side, and powders on the other!
This simple-as-pie duality is a reason it was a must-have in my vacation-packing.  I like to use one side for cream and fluid foundation and the other side for powders.
Plus, um, it’s pink!

Sephora Brand Metro Train Case

Whenever I travel, I look for the most compact, but yet streamlined, way of transporting my makeup.
The new Sephora Brand Black Diamond Metro Train Case is perfect – it fits all my needs! It’s sleek and sophisticated – yes, just as I am – and even has a lock and key to help keep items secure! There’s also adjustable inner trays, a four-tier foldout tray, and a detachable shoulder strap. You would not BELIEVE how much stuff it can hold!
As you read this, I am on a red-eye flight, via the fabulous Mexicana airlines, to Los Cabos – and have …read more

Lauren Luke Vintage Glam Makeup Kit

Last night, I attended the opening party of a new Sephora in Times Square, New York City; with guest of honor Lauren Luke.
This location will be selling the makeup palettes of Youtube video-blogger/make-up artist Lauren Luke, and she was the guest of honor last night.
The new location is fabulous – it’s huge – and they sell some lines that you won’t find at other Sephoras – even the one, say, around the corner from this location.
(Yes, Sephora has become the Starbucks of beauty.)
Lauren is sort of the “me” of England. Except she has like 30 million fans. But basically …read more

New Sephora Times Square

If you are a New York City Sephora fan, you may be really excited!
This week, a new Times Square location is opening up, and supermodel Josie Maran will be in attendance to give super-gorgeous makeovers to the public!
She’ll be at 1500 Broadway all day Friday, and Sunday afternoon at the new 5 Times Square.
While we’re talking about Josie – who is adorable, and we love – check out this hilarious video embedded below!
In the video, she rocks out to Kings of Leon in her new video featuring outtakes from photo shoots, product demos, and trips to New York City.

Philosophy Hope in a Jar and Eye Hope

Sometimes, we need a really great one-two punch to get the job done.
I’ve found just that in Philosophy Hope In A Jar and Eye Hope.
It really is a powerful pairing, it includes a great anti-aging eye cream as well as a super hydrating (and super popular) moisturizer.
Hope In A Jar is meant to help with everything from wrinkles to rough textures, but I love it for just plain hydrating my dehydrated skin. I swear to you ladies (and any gents who read this), my skin GLOWS when I use it regularly.
Eye Hope is from the same family, it  is an …read more
