I am digging this shampoo so much.  I have been using it for a good little bit, in conjunction with a Bumble & Bumble shampoo (that incidentally costs 3 times the price of this one), and honestly, this one has really captured my heart.  I adore rosemary – and mint is a surprisingly good companion.  I have seen the combination in a lot of products lately, and it really is great.  This shampoo has the ultra slightest tingle to it, it is not all frothy and cheap feeling (I hate overly frothy – read, cheap - shampoos), and did I mention it smells amazing?

This shampoo sells for $9.99 (at drugstore.com) for a big 14 ounce bottle that lasts a good long time.  Don’t use too much – this shampoo is more of a higher end shampoo, you don’t need a big palm full to do the job.

The ingredient list is after the jump.  ;)

My Love/Hate Relationship With Bumble & Bumble

Howdy folks – could I be more behind?  I think not.  Well, maybe.  When I get overwhelmed, I must whine a little, so please bear with me while I try to get myself back into the blogging groove this week.

On my whiny brain today is Bumble & Bumble.  *Why o why* do they not allow people to sell them online?  What is the point?  Is it diversion fears?  Maybe they just don’t *want* to have a thriving company that sells like mad.  I don’t know, but I sure wish they would reconsider that.  I have a few B&B things that I love and can’t live without, but the ordeal I have to go through to get them is just too much.

I have told you about their Hair Powder before.  I still think its a life saver when you need a color job and if you really need a hair washing, but just don’t have the time.

I also adore the Surf Spray.  After I do that elusive hair washing, my hair is so clean that it is flat to my head.  Surf Spray gives it that much needed life, and it is sooooooooo easy and quick.

Those two products are really the only things that make me go through the torture of hunting down B&B, and then trying new things while I am there.  I am so far not a great fan of their shampoos and conditioners (too expensive, not enough efficacy), and am using their Brilliantine shine spray now, and its *ok* but nothing different from a bunch of other similar products out there and nothing I would go through a ring of fire to obtain (like that hair powder…lol).  What do you all think about Bumble & Bumble – is it worth the effort?  Do I keep exploring?

Sale on Terax at beauty.com

Terax - Bosco Revitalizing ShampooBosco Revitalizing Shampoo from Terax is my favorite shampoo for oily hair - I use it only when mine is acting oily - which is a lot lately, especially in the heat of the summer. It is made with good oil reducing things like eucalyptus, peppermint, ginger and menthol and does a markedly better job keeping my hair from getting oily between shampoos than other brands I have tried. Yes, even Paul Mitchell. LOL Beauty.com has a great special going on right now for Terax, a gift with purchase:

Buy two Terax products and get a free Terax styling gel ($12 value).
Ends 7-24-06

Terax has been around for probably longer than you have, and there is a good reason for it - high quality products that work very well. Take this opportunity to give them a try if you never have before, or stock up on your favorite products, a Terax bargain is hard to find. ;)
