Avalon Organics has a line of CoQ10 products – the most useful of which I imagine is the Wrinkle Defense Serum ($22 from drugstore.com), at least that is the one I would try first (I love serums for some reason – they just sound more effective). CoQ10 is a coenzyme, naturally occuring in your body that is available as a supplement and as an ingredient in many skin care products. It is also an antioxidant, which we all know about now, right? Ok, I have been at it for one week now, and have done pretty well with getting my water in, although admittedly it could be better. I have at least consumed my full 8 glasses every day, and most days have drank more. And you know what? My skin is looking a bit better. Some of the blackheads/whiteheads have worked their way out, they really have. Will keep cranking at it another week and will see what happens!
