It’s like a very pro-active way of preventing break-outs or clearing out early signs of pimples. If there’s one thing I can really recommend, it’s the use of tea tree oil on your skin. A concealer with tea tree oil and other ingredients to help cover and fight blemishes.

I’ve already mentioned this but let me say it again, I’ve been using The Body Shop’s Tea Tree Oil Cover Stick for over seven years now. I first discovered it mid 2000 when I was searching for a concealer to replace the old brand I was using. I was never the experimenting type but the promise of natural ingredients — note, Tea Tree Oil and organic beeswax — I braved the purchase and use of this particular beauty product. I’m one of the lucky ones who hardly gets any zits. Funny cuz I used to get more breakouts when I was younger (probably due to puberty) but nowadays, I hardly get any even with the late nights and long work hours. Not to mention the dirt and humidity. Gah.

Anyway, I recommend that you grab yourself a bottle esp if zits is one of your major skin problems.

Here’s how to use it:

Dab a small amount directly onto skin at the first sign of a blemish, using a clean cotton wool bud on your fingertips.

If you do it before you go to bed, you’ll notice that the zits will be drying up when you wake up. Believe me, it’ll be gone in a day or two.
