While I was out shopping yesterday, I was checking out the Neutrogena facial scrub, I spotted this particular facial wash, Sensa’s Tea Tree Oil Foaming Facial Wash, on the same shelf. I almost gave in on the whim to buy it, just out of pure curiosity, but I successfully controlled it. Though, the curiosity remained. Hence, my googling for it.

Apart from wanting to learn more about the product, I also wanted to show you guys that there is a more affordable alternative to the usual tea tree oil products available in the market, i.e. the tea tree oil line from The Body Shop. The Sensa brand offers this particular product with the very effective skincare ingredient in its own line, which includes this facial wash, a toner and even a bar soap.

Tea Tree Oil is very effective in combating acne, or preventing and even curing blemishes on the skin. Imagine the convenience of having it in a facial wash? It’s like a very pro-active way of preventing break-outs or clearing out early signs of pimples. If there’s one thing I can really recommend, it’s the use of tea tree oil on your skin. If you haven’t tried it, I suggest that you make room on your medicine cabinet for a bottle. You won’t regret it.

A concealer with tea tree oil and other ingredients to help cover and fight blemishes.
I’ve already mentioned this but let me say it again, I’ve been using The Body Shop’s Tea Tree Oil Cover Stick for over seven years now. I first discovered it mid 2000 when I was searching for a concealer to replace the old brand I was using. I was never the experimenting type but the promise of natural ingredients — note, Tea Tree Oil and organic beeswax — I braved the purchase and use of this particular beauty product. I was hooked ever since. I even [...]
Post from: eBeautyDaily

A concealer with tea tree oil and other ingredients to help cover and fight blemishes.

I’ve already mentioned this but let me say it again, I’ve been using The Body Shop’s Tea Tree Oil Cover Stick for over seven years now. I first discovered it mid 2000 when I was searching for a concealer to replace the old brand I was using. I was never the experimenting type but the promise of natural ingredients — note, Tea Tree Oil and organic beeswax — I braved the purchase and use of this particular beauty product. I was hooked ever since. I even lured a few of my friends to the dark side.

About the two key ingredients:

<ins>Tea tree oil</ins>
Has natural purifying antibacterial properties and is known to help soothe blemished skin. Helps the Aboriginal co-operative to provide training for farmers and to develop pride in their tea tree heritage.

<ins>Organic beeswax</ins>
Moisturizes and helps to condition the hands and dry skin around the nail beds. Acts as a barrier that helps to seal in moisture. Helps to keep product texture consistent, when used over time. Helps protect and preserve the forest as well as providing necessary income for the beekeepers, an increasing number of which are now women.

I actually used this cover stick on some of my gigs as a makeup artist. Imagine my surprise when one of my customers came looking to contact me just so she can find out what I used to put on her pimples that night cuz they dried up like they never did before. Of course, she had to know what brand it is and where I bought it, the information I graciously supplied.

It’s like hitting two birds with one stone when I use this concealer, you see. It evens out my skin and takes care of my blemishes, i.e. a growing zit. I often apply it just to get rid of zits actually. This concealer helps in achieving a very natural makeup since I don’t really use foundation or loose powder. And the shade is perfect for my skin tone.

Anyway, I recommend that you grab yourself a bottle esp if zits is one of your major skin problems.

Here’s how to use it:

Dab a small amount directly onto skin at the first sign of a blemish, using a clean cotton wool bud on your fingertips.

If you do it before you go to bed, you’ll notice that the zits will be drying up when you wake up. Believe me, it’ll be gone in a day or two.
