I was shocked to learn recently that some of my – very knowledgeable – friends do not know what threading is!
I realized, then, that for some reason, it is only done and appreciated by a niche of us – and I wanted to remedy that, because it’s a great option for so so many people who are interested in hair removal.

DIY Threading Has Arrived!

A long time ago, I realized that while tweezing was the ideal method of hair removal, I was just not any good at it. I turned to the world of monthly waxing, and then threading, and now I am rethinking the whole darn thing.
Why? I found out about the Lindo Twist-n-Roll Tweezers.

Threading and sanding are two slightly lesser known methods of hair removal – although threading has grown rapidly in popularity in the U.S. over the last 5 or so years. Threading is a technique widely used in the middle east and India and basically is a process using a cotton thread – the hairs are trapped in a thread loop and plucked from the skin – it is supposedly a little less painful than tweezing and waxing, and is only appropriate for smaller areas, such as the face.
