In case you didn’t hear, I was supposed to be in Mexico this week and it fell through. I was bummed until I found out I am going to southern California…cause all I really need is a palm tree and a cocktail.

Because I live in San Dieg0, my tropical getaway dreams take me far away from ordinary perfect. I would go to Bali and stay in one of the hotels that are directly over the water. You can see the fish through the floor. I would bring one swim suit, one top, one pair of shorts, my hair and sandels…and a sarong.
I guess proofreading is really a lost art. Of course I would bring my hair….and my hat!
Anywhere with sand, sun and a tropical breeze will suit me just fine! Just make sure I have a book in one hand and a fruity cocktail in the other, preferably served by some cute cabana boy! A few girlfriends thrown in would be fun too! (note the hubby and kids are NOT in my tropical fantasy…they are back home turning my home into a spotless wonder…another fantasy of its own!)
Bali, stay directly over the water, indulge in seafood, read my fave book on a hammock and wear only bikini and a sarong every day!
I’ve never been to Hawaii – and I daydrea about basking in the sun all day – running to the waters and back to the sand while a cold glass of pine-orange juice is waiting for me.

My tropical fantasy would be in Hawaii! I would love to take my family there. It would be nice to go to a Luau stay in a nice resort on the beach and just sit back and watch the sunset with my family! Teaching my kids how to surf in Hawaii is a true fantasy! Just relaxing and seeing all the tropical fish!

my tropical fantasy would be a cruise along the coast of Italy, Croatia, Greece and Turkey… I have read about it in a magazine and it sounded so perfect, except for the price. I would love to visit all these countries and a cruise will provide so many visual delights
(Anywhere where there’s clear blue waters, really!) My tropical fantasy would be going down under to The Great Barrier Reef. Just the majestic beauty of this world’s wonder is enough to make me zone out and fantasize… I would love to learn how to snorkle/scuba dive to feed the fishes and see the wonderful formations of corals in the world!

my tropical fantasy is getting shipwrecked on an abandoned island that just happens to have a plentiful amount of awesome veggies and great weather. after living in cramped spaces for most of my life, a nice deserted island would be welcome!
