The Newest in Nail Polish – Incoco Dry Nail Applique.

Sometimes I am simply amazed at what technology is doing in the beauty industry. Take this newest nail polish advancement from Incoco. Forgive me if I start to get excited and sound a bit *giddy* as I go on – but I love this product. Love, Love, Love!!!

imageIncoco Dry Nail Applique is a revolutionary product, almost one of those you can’t believe it until you see it kind of things! So, these are basically nail strips that are applied to the nails, almost like a cling-on type of sticker. But truly there is much more to this product. The strips actually contain a base coat, nail polish, and top coat all in one. Yes – they even smell like nail polish. It is almost weird how well these work.

Inside the Incoco package:
20 nail strips in various sizes
a nail file/buffer
a cuticle stick
a polish removing cloth

I used these strips on my daughter earlier last week, and after seeing how they held up during two hours of basketball practice, I knew I was next in line to try them.

The technique takes a little bit to get used to at first. Trying to figure out exactly which size strip to use, and figuring out exactly how to place the strip on the nail, how much pressure to apply, and even learning how to correctly file off the extra strip. I would say that I spent about 35 – 40 minutes on my first try, applying the nail strips myself. The end result looked perfect though, and my nails were immediately polished and dry. Seriously, it looked like I had just spend $20 at the nail salon, in about the same time, without leaving my house or worrying about smearing, smudging, or chipping any of the polish off on the way home. Amazing!

So, it is ten days later, and I decided I needed a “polish change”. I used the polish cloth to take off the polish strips – simple. This was nothing different than taking off regular nail polish. Then I shaped and buffed my nails, and applied another set of strips. But this time, I knew how to peel back the clear protective film, separate the strip from the backing, and which size I would need to choose for each nail. I finished all of my nails in just under 20 minutes. 20 minutes, people!!! A perfect manicure, with a great color, looking professionally done, and the best part – NO DRYING TIME!

Honestly, I do not see any reason whatsoever to go back to using regular nail polish again. I mean it. You have to try these.

There is a great little video on the Incoco website briefly explaining the whole process, and I bet this will save you time if you watch it a few times before applying for the first time. I, of course, didn’t watch it until after I applied my daughters set and mine! ;)

Right now, I see that these are available at Walgreens and walgreens.com. The price for everything included is $5.99 for a colored set, and $7.99 for a French Manicure set – which I have yet to try, but really want to!

If you have used these, I know you are as thrilled as I am about them. Let me know how you feel, and if you have any applications tips or tricks – though I hardly think it could be any easier than it already is.

Ooh – I can’t wait to try them on my toes!

I work in a salon, so needless to say my hands are in water for hours a day. To add to that, my skin and nails come in contact with caustic dyes and formulas. I love my job but unfortunately it does not have the same love for my nails. Until I found Incoco nails strips at Walgreens I had all but given up on painting my nails. These strips are amazing. I put them on and after a week of abuse my nails still looked near perfect. It’s crazy. I’ve turned all my girlfriends onto these products and my brother’s fiance is just as excited as I am about them because she’s a nurse and she washes her hands even more then I do. I LOVE THESE THINGGGGGGGGGGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This product works great, the only thing is I wish the sizes were bigger. I am a 100 lb women and I felt the sizes were a little to small for me.
Maybe you could make one additional strip and make it bigger, even if you have to charge a little more for this.
    Thank you

These are the best ever!!! I put them on Friday afternoon, it’s Monday afternoon now and there is no wear n tear that I can see. Best purchase ever!!

These are the best things since sliced bread! I heard about them through the hollywood grapevine and being a very busy actress, I don’t have the time or the patience to go to a salon to get my nails done anymore. Plus, as soon as I’ve spent that $25-$30 I’m gasping and swearing at the smudges, bubbles and knicks. I have never been so in love and I would like the world to know! I used the french manicure and they look better now than any time I had them “professionally” done. I’m the pro now. I, too, wish the strips were a bit wider…

my nails never looked so good…….put the incoco on on tuesday, here it is a whole week later and they still look great even through a week of scrubbing the floors, shampooing the carpeting AND cleaning the oven without gloves.
I wish there were other stores that sold them, can’t always get to walgreens

These are absolutely brilliant! I have been using them for months. I was one of the first to do french manicures 25 years ago so when Incoco came out with the french manicure I was thirlled. (Avon discontinued there). The other night I was going out to dinner and my nails were dreadful. I literally had 20 minutes before we had to leave, but I was desparate to do something. I did the Fairy Dust french manicure and was only 5 minutes late leaving. I was out the door with a dry, beautiful french manicure in record time. This will last me 12 to 14 days if I gently file the chipped tips and apply a top coat every couple of days.

I’m not near a Walgreens either, but will travel the 10 or 12 miles to get them!

I LOVE INCOCO I USE THE WHTE CLOUD TIPS.THEN I PUT THE DIVA OVERTOP. I GET MORE COMPLEMENTS DAILY/.. I WISH YOU WOULD HAVE DIVA IN A FRENCH MANICURE SET. I ONLY LIKE THOSE COLORS TOGETHER. THE FAIRY DUST AND OTHER COLORS DON’T LOOK AS PROFESSIONAL. I AM HAVING A HARD TIME FINDING THE DIVA AT WALGREENS. THEY ARE ALWAYS OUT. I NEED TO ORDER THEM ON LINE . WHEN I RUN OUT I GO INTO WITHDRAWAL (LOL).

    THANKS SO MUCH

    JACKIE
