The Science of Céleteque

Céleteque Facial Wash

Facial Wash
Céleteque

I’ve been using Céleteque for the past couple of weeks now. I admit that I really wasn’t sure what to expect but what do we always expect from any facial wash anyway? As long as it cleans and refreshes your skin then you’re good right? Of course, save that it doesn’t dry up your skin. I’m not at all familiar with the Céleteque brand and this is the first time I’ve ever tried one.

This facial wash has no distinct scent which will make you think that it has harmful chemicals in it. It doesn’t smell bad. The semi-clear amber hue gives it a serious look, seemingly like how Neutrogena started. I can still recall the body oil and such.

Anyway. It lathers up with ease and decently cleans the skin. No qualms there. What I don’t like is the concentrate. I mean if the liquid isn’t thick enough, make sure that the dispenser will allow you to control the amount you’ll be able to squeeze onto your palm. Yes. Twasn’t thick enough so sometimes you do end up using a larger amount than you have to. Heh.

What is the Science of Céleteque?

The Science of Céleteque Facial Wash

“The science of Céleteque works by removing dirt and impurities that block the skin pores. Its triple moisturizing system goes deep down to restore the skin’s proper moisture balance. Leaving you with clean, soft, and healthy skin.”

At least, that’s what it says at the back of the box.

I have to agree that it does work well in removing dirt and impurities but I’m not certain if it should be blamed for minor zit problems I’ve had the past week. I appreciate that it helps in washing off my makeup and it does leave your skin this soft feeling after, too. I guess you can’t have everything, right?

Any additional thoughts, anyone?

    Hi there! :)

I used the Celeteque facial wash maybe three or four years ago. I didn’t get pimples while using the product but rashes. :( I guess I’m not just “hiyang” to the product. Hope this helps. :)

I have never used this personally, but my bro is using the Celeteque Moisturizer and he swears by it..yup!!! Don’t get him wrong..hahah he works in China and his skin is super dry (like mine, must be genes) and he has been buying several moisturizers to quench his skin during the colder season, Celeteque works for him and he always buy a couple before going back to china :)

Considering that it’s supposedly gentle that it’s marketed to people with sensitive skin, finding out that there are people who suffer side-effects is alarming. Thanks for sharing. :)

I haven’t seen the moisturiser. It’s good to know that it works for your brother. Thanks for sharing. Btw, would you know if it has SPF? :)

hi! i’ve been using this product for about a year now and it’s really doing wonders for my face. at first i had breakouts but i think it was just a way of “de-toxifying” my skin. i’m loving the skin i have now because of this facial wash, i feel like my skin is healthier and glowing. hope this helps! =)

Hmmm. I love celeteque. Before, my skin is dark, full of dead cells, and is so oily. Just after a WEEK, of using celeteque, my skin became a healthy glowing light brown (i am morena), it became soft, and smooth! My skin was renewed! It works for me, but that does not mean that it’ll work for everyone. :)

It’s good to know that it worked for you! How long have you been using Celeteque? :)

Im about to finish my first bottle of celeteque 250 ml.If I rate it out of 10, maybe 7. After using this product may pimples got smaller. But I want to get rid of my pimples and restour my smooth skin.Does celeteque have any product? or I need to use the oil control toner or alcohol free. My skn type is oily. NEED HELP….!

yes celeteque facial wash works well in making your skin smooth and moisturize. it also helps in controlling the growth of pimples because it is non-comedogenic as it say so. but i notice that it darkens my skin because before i used whitening soaps. I tried to stop using celeteque for a few weeks and try to use maxi-peel soap because of its whitening and anti-acne property but I notice that my skin got dry so i again used celeteque to revive the smoothness and glow of my skin and to lessen pimple outgrowth and stop using maxi-peel soap. can i request for celeteque manufacturer to manufacture whitening celeteque facial wash?!

I’ve been using Celeteque for more than a year now. I’m a mom, 47 yrs, and I can say that Celeteque really did me a lot of good. I no longer have breakouts (which I used to have constantly, especially on the chin area). And Celeteque really makes my skin supple and soft, and smooth. I’ve been using their four products, facial wash (most days of the week), gentle exfoliating wash (2x a week), alcohol-free toner alternately with their oil-control toner, and their wonderful moisturizer. I wake up in the morning with skin that feels like baby’s skin when touched. I guess each person’s skin has different needs, I’m glad I’ve found mine. I’m not planning to switch to any other brand for now. I’m happy with Celeteque.

  12. Lhain says:

I was just wondering if celeteque products has its own version of sunblock and mask. Im not the typical girl who just uses a facial wash or a toner or a moisturizer alone. I always make sure I have complete set of products for my everyday use. I already used a lot of brands like complete set of Loreal (too strong for my skin, its giving me black spots especially on the area with acne ), olay (Product is good but it doesn’t have facial wash and toner, I’m using different product for facial wash and toner) and the last one is the nivea (It has a complete product: facial wash, toner, day moisturizer, sunblock spf50 and night cream but not to be rude, it isn’t working for me. I finished 1 set already but I cant see any difference on my skin) I am now trying celeteque gentle exfoliating wash and moisturizer and I find it gentle on my skin but how I wish you will have your own version of sunblock (higher spf the better) and facial mask (whether a peel off or washable mask). Please! Please! Please! I dont want to use different brands anymore. It might react on the product I’m using now. And I’m scared it might cause irritation or more serious face problem.
