There is More to Love with Crest Whitestrips

You might know that I am an active home tooth whitening fan.  Most lately I have been using Crest Whitestrips (mostly because my GoSmile has run out again and I have a ton of tooth whiteners sitting here mostly unused, and Im being thrifty – its tax time, ya know?).   While I honestly wasn’t that crazy about the Crest Whitestrips at first, they really have grown on me.  They do a great job whitening, and the little gel on plastic really stays on your teeth nicely and doesn’t get in the way.  I think I was a little spoiled by the ease of the GoSmile (put it on, then youre done), and took it out on Crest, to be honest.

crest-whitestrips-tartar So, just when I start to become a big vocal fan, they have come out with something new.  Crest Whitestrips Daily Whitening Plus Tartar Protection.   Yeah!

A couple great sounding things about this product – it is a 5 minute daily commitment, and, obviously, it contains a chemical that prevent tartar from building up on your teeth (pyrophosphate, if you’re interested).

To me, this is a no brainer – a multi use product that will not only whiten your teeth, but will prevent some of the ick that causes your teeth to become less white in the first place.

As of this writing, this is unavailable, but I would keep a close eye on Amazon, Drugstore.com and your local stores, because it is coming soon (this month), and the MRSP is $39.99 and has a 38 day supply.  I have about a weeks worth of regular Whitestrips left, so I am hoping this shows up soon!

These are pretty good, Christina. I love that you only have to leave them on for the five minutes, because the taste is a little harsh. Whether it be the peroxide or the pyrophosphate, it is not covered up as well with the minty freshness that I am used to. But, the feeling I get after I remove them and brush is incredibly fresh and clean.

    Hi Christina,

If you like the White stirps, I have a brand new teeth whitening product that you will love. It is called the WhiteIce. It comes in the form of a lipstick and contains 3x’s the whitening power of a Crest whitestrip. All you have to do is color it on your teeth like your everyday lip balm taking only a few seconds to apply and then do not eat or drink for 10 minutes while the whitening agents do their magic. It leaves your breath minty fresh! I am a HUGE coffee drinker and this is the only product that has kept the stains off of my teeth leaving them pearly white! It was actually ranked as one of the top products in Dentistry Today. Because it is a professional-grade prodcut you can not buy it at your local drugstore, so please let me know if you would like me to send you one for free. I would be more than happy too. I can’t wait for you to try it!

Love this blog!!! Being a starbucks addict and I would def love to see more teeth product reviews! I used Crest white strips for a long time with some success. However, recently I’ve been trying out a lot of less main-stream stuff from Dentist.net and drugstore.com. So far my favorite is Dr Collins All White bleaching gel & toothpaste. Also as far as breath goes his tongue squigi is great.

Ah Cassie I use Dr Collins too! It’s my biggest secret; all my friends use the mainstream junk and I’m the one who always gets compliments on my sparkling white teeth : ). It’s all in the details! They aren’t in drugstore.com yet though but I think they will be soon or something. Have you tried the prepasted brush? Theyre the best to put in your purse for a night out!!!
