Top Designers Create Christmas Stockings for Charity

This is a neat story – Six designers were commissioned by Women’s Wear Daily to create one of a kind stockings and stuff them, to be auctioned off for charity on eBay. The designers who participated are Laura and Kate Mulleavy for Rodarte, Marc Jacobs, Vera Wang, Alexander McQueen, Bryan Bradley for Tuleh, and Richie Rich and Traver Rains for Heatherette (their stocking is pictured).
These couture stockings are filled with all sorts of things, from soaps to theater tickets to nuts and chocolates, and go up for sale on eBay today at 3pm for a 3 day auction. Here is the presale page. If you aren’t going to bid yourself, keep an eye on it, it will be most interesting to watch, don’t you think?

Wow.. that’s super duper cool! now christmas will never be the same! =) btw, how are you doing?
I dont suppose you know if any designers are doing stockings this year do you? Im desperate to find a top quality stocking, even if it is not filled.
any ideas?
