My one refuge? The bathroom, where I can take super hot showers and for a few brief moments, feel the circulation return to my limbs. Well, that’s high promise: I am a beauty editor, and I’m cosmetically challenged just about every time I ready myself for a hot night out!

That said, I am a little fearful of embodying the beauty advice of a drag queen.

It’s a pretty comprehensive line though, all in mystical fairy-dust-like shades in a very retro lavender casing that is topped off with a signature red logo based on a pair of Dame Edna’s glases.

The line includes two shades of nail polish, a highlight powder, two eye shadow trios, three lipsticks and three lip glosses. Longtime MAC fans may see a lot of similarity between these shades and the Heatherette collection – but I’m loving it! Turmeric: A highly regarded ingredient in India, Turmeric is widely known for its medicinal properties. Turmeric will be found in acne-related creams and lotions, as it is an antiseptic and can aid in preventing and removing blemishes. It will also be found in hair removal products as well as in the formulation of sunscreen in more natural products as well.
