Wednesday Night: My TV Night

So Wednesday nights are my TV night. Naturally, I tune in 15 min before Project Runway starts, and my satellite dish is wonky. Ok, 20 min on the phone and its better. On the bright side, I remembered to tune in at 8pm for PR – their move to an hour earlier has killed me this season! Thankfully it comes on and on and on and I can catch it when I have missed it.
I thought last night was a little dull. Not sure why. But, I was thrilled that Leanne won, it was high time. She’s a mousy little thing, but that chick’s got mad design skillz (or maybe its the construction that is truly so flawless). Once again Blaine is passed over for the FAIL – but Im glad the Angry Gay Mormon (not that there is anything wrong with that!) is history. So tired of his whining and his garments that look like my washer chewed them up.
So up next is Shear Genius. I have watched that simply because of my inability to come to watch Project Runway an hour earlier. I think I have moaned about this before, but, while I LOVE Jaclyn Smith – where is her personality? She is so – dry. Aloof. Something. She is sweet, and God knows she is a great beauty, but I just don’t think she is show host material. But she is way better than K-mart. But it was a good show – especially coming out of the salon life, like I have – I know how hard the challenges are for those folks. It brought me to tears at the end when Dee won (but admittedly, that’s no real feat with me). Will I watch again? Not sure. Now that Bravo has lost Project Runway, I won’t be doing a Bravo marathon at 9pm on Wednesdays. Boo.
Finally, The Rachel Zoe Project. Um. Not sure where to go with this one. I’ve been sitting on this for a week. I can hardly stand the sight of her, yet I watched the preview episode – yeah, twice. She *might* come off likable here. She will at least garner a little sympathy, maybe. Might be sympathy for her husband though. You gonna watch that show? I think I will. At least it will have some great fashion to peek at. My husband should watch and see how a real clothing/bag whore shops. I am nothing.
Alright, got all that out of my system – Id love to chat about it more, so if you’re watching one or all three shows – speak up! Tell me what you think!
