What’s Your Favorite: Mascara

So many new mascaras, so little time. I have been in love with my Elizabeth Arden Double Density mascara, but it is time to rebuy again (you are replacing your mascara every three months, right??) - and I think I need to check out some more current offerings because, well, thats what I do. 
I would like to know what your favorites are from the last year or so, so I can pick up some of the ones I haven’t tried. So let me have it - what are YOUR favorites?
I’ve tried so many different ones,it makes me sick to think all the money I wasted.
I’m back to good old Loreal Voluminous original.
I have tried almost every mascara available. Hands down my favorite is YSL volume faux cils. It is a little expensive but worth it!

Loreal Voluminous is my favorite, too.
Oh you know I’ll always be loyal to my imju dejavu fibrewig mascara!
Grayburn - I have tried fiberwig two different times and its just not warmed my heart like it has so many others. I will give it a third shot this month though - there has to be something great about it to have so many fans!
I have also tried fiberwig, not thrilled with it. It is ok to use over another mascara as a second coat.
I also have spent a fortune trying all of them. I am really looking for a good waterproof one that holds a curl & adds volume. So far my pick is MAX FACTOR volume couture.
i have to say, for the price, nothing beats Loreal Voluminous. i like Imju, but it doesn’t give me the fat, juicy lashes i really want, even though it wears like a dream and is really gentle on my lashes. right now i’m using Christian Dior Diorshow, but for the money it’s not that much better than Loreal.
I love a good mascara! My fav is Max Factor’s Masterpiece. Great length and volume without clogging and clumping. Haven’t found one to replace it with yet.
I’m still a fan of cheap & cheerful Maybelline. It doesn’t irritate my super sensitive eyes & washes off easily.
L’Oreal Voluminous is one of my faves too - but I just bought one in the Carbon Black, and it was almost too black, so I am going back to my good ole’ Soft Black shade for that one. Perfecto!
I also love Tarte’s Lights, Camera, Lashes; Px Here to Stay; and the newest one from Lancome, High Definition.
Maybeline Define-A-Lash and Mac Zoom Lash
I keep going back to Maybelline Full and Soft. I don’t like crazy artificial looking lashes and I hate when they’re all crunchy cuz they’re filled with goop. Full and Soft is great for everyday, I go with L’Oreal Voluminous for more dramatic events though.
L’Oreal Original Voluminous is my absolute favorite!
But, if you’re looking for a more subtle and natural lash that enhances (and I mean enhance - not to lengthy or voluminous) you might want to try Bobbi Brown Everything Mascara.
I wasn’t thrilled with it at first but it’s actually kind of nice on days where I have minimal makeup on
I really like Fiberwig as well, but I understand why a lot of people don’t. If you want volume, you cannot get it from this mascara, because it’s a lengthening formula. I have so many lashes that volumizing looks wrong, so I love this. Lots of people suggest to use a volumizing formula first, and then use this one on top of it to get length.
I remember liking Maybeline back in the day (as in, high school, so really back in the day). Fell out of makeup for a while, though, and since coming back, haven’t tried it.
Prescriptives’ “Beyond Long” is by FAR my favorite. Every friend that I’ve gotten to try it is hooked… even the ones that aren’t product junkies like me.
I love my new too-faced lash injection mascara. That stuff works wonders

I have spent hundreds on all the expensive mascaras, and Definicils is great…..but Cover Girl’s new Last Blast (the orange tube) is the BOMB. I picked it up on a whim and it is fantastic!!!
I’d have to say that my favourite mascara is Lancome Extreme Lashes. I just got Guerlain’s mascara and I cannot wait to try it!

Hands down L’Oreal Voluminous mascara the best, tried Cover Girl Lash Blast on one eye L’Oreal on the other, through the Cover Girl out waste of money. Voluminous user for around 15 years, you think I would learn!!!!
I’ve had the best luck with these three drugstore options:
Cover Girl’s Volume Exact
Maybelline’s Illegal Lengths
Maybelline’s Volum Express
I haven’t tried the waterproof versions of any of these, but generally I look for lengthening versions that go on clean and don’t flake but last all day.
Along the lines of what not to do in the mascara arena: I recently got suckered into trying Blinc’s Kiss Me mascara. It’s hyped as “painting your lashes” which creates tubes that wrap around your lashes. You can remove it with water only, but I didn’t really enjoy the experience at all. I love Cover Girl’s Lash Blast. It makes my lashes look huge. I like Fiberwig, too, as an extra coat to get more length.
you guys HAVE to try l’oreal’s HIP mascara in blue black! i have been a voluminous fan since inception (i have turned MANY a make-up artist on to it!) but this is even BETTER and in the same price range! you will love me for telling you about it!
