As a great result from all the wonderful feedback I have gotten from my Amy Winehouse Cat Eye video, (omgicantbelievesomanypeoplehavewatchedthis), I have a fantastical giveaway for some of my readers. The ultra sweet Beth Bender has given me THREE Get In Line Eye Kits to give away (yep, these come with the stencils!), along with some other groovy goodies!
How do you win, you might ask? Well, from the feedback I have received, this is a pretty hot item, so I am going to go beyond my normal, “leave a comment.” This is what I want from you. I want you to show me your best “homemade” cat eye. A photo, a video, whatever you’d like. It can be a full face, full body or just your eye - your preference. Make it nice and normal, or go all Amy Winehouse on me - it matters not. I want to see what you are doing! You can post it on your own web site and leave me a comment (or shoot me an email), or you can send it to me and I will post it here. Out of the entries, I will draw three names out of a hat, and those will be the winners!
To give you plenty of time, I will pick the winners on the morning of the 15th of August, thats 2 weeks.
Now, the Beth Bender Beauty Get In Line eye kit not only comes with the cat eye stencil, but also comes with a wonderful EASY smoky eye stencil as well. This video is a quick demo of that stencil so you can see what a great product this is:
I am telling you, I would pay the price of the whole kit for the stencils alone. You can use any other eye shadow with these stencils, so there is a whole world of possibilities for making an artist perfect eye! I hope you enjoy this, and be sure to send in your pictures of your cat eye to win!

You shouldn’t blow on your brushes–it gets bacteria in them. You should just tap them to remove the excess.
I used to do my eyes like a cat, it was back in the late 60’s and 70’s. Now, nearly 40 years ago, it all comes back. Does anyone remember a pink cream with little red seeds or dots, it smelled wonderful and was thick and heavy. I need to find the name of this cream.
Excuse me, Miss Christina - may I ask what you are wearing in this newest video?
Too cute!
I love this smoky eye, and really need one of these kits.
