Grabbing a gal pal and hanging out at the make up counters is a bonding experience that I wouldn't want to pass up! It would cost me way more that $199 to replace my beauty routine. Unless, of course, I took out all the makeup items, and just stuck with skin care. Even then, it would be close. I carry way less in my purse than on average, though. I limit it to a lip gloss or lip stick (whatever) I'm wearing, hand cream, and perfume. I make most of my purchases at Sephora or Ulta — and I can’t imagine buying them online. I switch between Nexus and Nioxin for my hair. LipFusion for my lips. I really don't consider myself high maintenance, but when I add it all up, I think its about $700. It's all because of my skin care, but its so worth it. Have you heard of HydroPeptide? It's amazing. It's loaded with healthy ingredients, like peptides (6 peptides in fact). The most peptides I've found in a product (and that's what my doctor said I should look for). The whole line is easy to use. If I bought everything my doctor told me to buy (a peptide cream, an antioxidant cream, a moisturizer over that), my bill would probably be in the $1000's. I started with just their face cream and feel in love. It feels so nice, smells so refreshing, and my skin looks amazing. I normally don't spend $80 for a face cream, but I'm hooked.
