Zeta-Jones’s Caviar Hair Therapy

While I can’t find the original *source* of this to save my life (I hate it when that happens), it is being reported that Catherine Zeta-Jones says she has found the best hair treatment to keep her hair super shiny: a beluga caviar treatment.

From the Philly Daily News:

A source tells ThisisLondon-.com (sic) that CZJ’s hair “is washed with a truffle-based shampoo,” then smeared with deodorized Beluga caviar – flown in from Iran.

“She credits the gourmet delights for giving her . . . an unbeatable shine,” the source said.

“She has an incredibly rich and vibrant natural hair colour, but the creamy, almost oily nature of caviar really brings this out, making the color even richer and making it so much more glossy.”

Sounds good, but beluga caviar is one of the most expensive in the world – probably doesn’t make a dent to her, but it sure would to me. Has anyone ever tried this? Wonder how it works with a less expensive caviar?

Daaannnng. Caviar, truffles. I can’t even afford to eat those let alone for my hair. Whewww. Must be nice.

  2. Way out of my price range… but have to admit, squashing fish eggs into my hair really isn’t a pleasant thought ;) Then again, my hair doesn’t look as shiny as I would like it to be!

Ok…seriously now….That’s like rubbing salmon on my precious locks! I can’t do it

At about $150 an ounce for real beluga caviar, I would suspect that if this treatment becomes popular, short hair might be the next big thing.

After I bring my hair loss problem to an end, then only I can think of extra shine, color etc… Please help me, if you know about any treatment or medicine which is non-chemical/herbal. m really very worried. M afraid that I don’t bald one day…. will be waiting for your advice… Thanks in advance.. 

  6. We actually have had samples sent to us to stock and about five of our staff tried the caviar hair care serum. The results were mixed with a few saying it was really good and a few didn’t like the weight that seemed to stay in the hair even after washing.

At any rate with those of kind of mixed results we didn’t see any reason to stock it and charge the $89 per oz for it.

I eat salmon ceviche and it gives me tons of energy and my hair is super shiny and growing like weeds. Not kidding. You can see even some gray hairs I have change back to black. Ceviche is just salmon cut up in small pieces, onions, put in bowl fill with lemon juice, papaya pieces, salt/pepper to taste.

  9. Lauren says:

Does it surprise anyone that CZJ would put this in her hair? She is in a constant pursuit of “non-aging” anything.
