“My boyfriend and I have been together for 5 years now. Just this year, I had to move from the Philippines to Canada.
We’ve been in a long distance relationship for 6 months now. This is our first valentine’s day apart.
Since he has adjusted to my timezone here, we plan to wake up together via Skype, eat together, spend the day together and even compete on Guitar Hero 3 online! The thing is, we can’t connect online since I own a Wii and he’s using a PS3, so we will just time our songs so that we play the same song at the same time and compare our scores.
We’ll top off the day with a romantic dinner we’ll cook for ourselves and share online.
That’s the best we can do.
Technology, will in fact save our relationship.”
I went “Awwwww” when I read her entry. It’s probably the geekiest yet most romantic Valentine’s plan ever!
For those in a long distance relationship, aren’t you guys happy the geek gods created Skype?
And omigod, playing Guitar Hero to the same song at the same time! *melt* That’s like looking at the stars even though you guys are at different places, haha!
