I don’t really understand why this is marketed to the tweens and teens market. The features are similar (if not exactly the same) as most point-and-shoot cameras that Canon has in the market lately.

Features

  • 10 megapixels
  • 4x optical zoom
  • Shooting modes available
  • Face Detection and Image stabilization
  • 2.5 inch LCD
  • Start up screen and operation sounds are customizable.
  • Comes in Pink, Blue and White

The price isn’t so tween/teen friendly either at $199.99. Coming out in stores in September.

I think its kawaii! Had i known that they will release this camera, I should have waited for this one before buying a digital camera. It has almost the same features as my PS SX100 IS, but its cheaper. It looks nice too with its fancy and chick colors which is a break from the monotony of black and silver coated cameras. I think its marketed for tweens because this pastel-colored cameras will definitely appeal to their senses. It appealed to mine, yet I’m a tween no more.
