Well first things first, let’s differentiate between refurbished gadgets and used gadgets.
Refurbished gadgets are gadgets that were usually returned to the manufacturer because they had something wrong with them (broken casing, internal problems etc). And then these gadgets had the parts replaced and were quality controlled and then sold again at a cheaper price.
Used gadgets are, well, pre owned gadgets that the users want to let go for various reasons. (need money, upgrading, etc)
I personally don’t like buying used gadgets since I don’t know how the owners took care of them. I prefer to buy gadgets spanking brand new! I mean, hello, if I’m going to spend an obscene amount of money, might as well make it well worth
But once in my lifetime, I actually considered getting a refurbished Mac Book Pro since they were actually cheaper. Thankfully, my parents decided to help me out so I could buy a brand new one instead.
So, would you buy refurbished and/or used gadgets?

I not under what circumstances do not buy used things, it simply not reliably and is not present guarantees that in couple of weeks the thing will not break!
i had an hp ipaq that i bought as used and it’s still working properly.
on a side note, when buying a used gadget, make sure that the seller offers a testing warranty so if the thing breaks, you can get your money back.
It depends on the item, and your appetite for risky investments
