Gadgenista Review: Capdase Keysavers!

I’ve been meaning to blog about the accessories I’ve been buying for my still nameless Mac Book Pro, but I haven’t had the inspiration to, since I don’t have a camera and I couldn’t take any photos of them, haha.
Ripping images off the internet seems just plain… boring.
But fortunately, my boss bought a new Panasonic DMC-LX2K (which I will review in a bit) and he leaves it around the studio so I can use it.
So here I am taking photos of the Capdase Keysaver which I bought a few weeks ago!
I wasn’t really too keen on buying a keyboard silicon case cover since I’m not a fan of silicon cases. They just feel too sticky!
But I’ve realized that I am going to use my Mac Book Pro to play World of Warcraft a lot and that entails me to always press the “W” button to run forward.
I definitely do NOT want to make the “W” on the button to disappear!
So buying the keyboard silicon case is a big MUST!
What I love about the Capdase Keysaver is, unlike most silicon keyboard covers, it spans the whole keyboard AND wrist rest area! Not just the keyboard!

So now I don’t have to worry about getting discolorations on the wrist rest area!
And it also has little perforations on the silicon case if you’re worried about the heat issue of Mac Book Pros. How cool is that, haha
(No pun intended, hahaha)

So if you’re looking at buying a silicone keyboard, I highly recommend Capdase Keysavers!
Available for 13″ Mac Books and 15″ Mac Book Pros, in white, clear and black for Php 1,200 at iStudio in Bonifacio High Street.

just be careful with it
how did it break?
Where can I get this? I’ve searched online, unsuccessfully. I am in the US.
mmmm… i’ve bought the pink one… and yeah,, this is definitely worth buying…!!
one question came to mind.. can I somehow wash it [water]? if not, then how can i clean it??
thank you…
am curious to know, if it ever leaves dirt marks on your keyboard after pro longed usage?
i noticed though that the keyboard is hotter than the usual with these silicones, so i bet, using the capdase would be better– just not sure if it would later leave some dirt marks on the keyboard itself?
Hi Rachel, actually yes, it does leave dirt marks after a while. That’s why you still need to clean the keyboard every so often with a damp cloth.
But the dirt is very minimal. Definitely cleaner than NOT using a keyboard case.
hi, was wondering if this can be used for a hp laptop
finally got one! it’s a struggle to type but i figured that you would get the hang of it later– i don’t think it would work on an hp though because the keyboard of mac’s and of hp’s are different (my beau uses and hp).
hth.
Hi Rachel! yes, it definitely takes a while to get used to using it! But I don’t know, using the bare keyboards of the macbook pro feels a bit clunky sometimes, hehe!
Glad you’re enjoying ur capdase keyboard cover!
Hey, can someone tell me how to shrink back the keysavers? My keysavers somehow starts to stretch. Any advice?
