Motorola Phones in Bling!

Did I just say that gold is the new pink?

Apparently it seems like it is! Apple isn’t the only one bling-ing up their gadgets… Motorola is also joining in the “gold and diamond” gadget fad!

The Motorola Razr 2 V8 Luxury Edition is festooned with 24 karat gold, vacuum metal finish, snakeskin posterior and a bundled 18 karat trimmed Bluetooth headset. The parts, which are non-gold, are either Black Slate or Vacuum Metal with snakeskin effects on the back.

From the newsvine, this little piece of artwork might cost around $5000!!! Expected to be available in Q4 in select regions.

Peter Aloisson, a well-known luxury accessories designed who swooned us all with his $1.3 million Diamond Crypto Smartphone has also designed for Motorola, diamond-encrusted Motorola KRZRs and diamond-studded Motorola V3is.

The stainless steel version encrusted with diamond version sells for £2000 while the Motorola V3i – Stainless Steel Gold, on the other hand, is studded with 855 diamonds weighing a total of 3.8 carats and sells for £5000 or approx. $10,000.

Also designed by Peter Aloisson are the diamond-encrusted Motorola KRZRs which comes in 3 designs: KRZR White, KRZR Leopard and KRZR Roma respectively.
