New iPod Nano Has A Video Camera!

So the rumors are TRUE. Ok, I’m going to go straight to the point before I start losing my train of thoughts.
Call me stupid, but I assume that this iPod Nano can only take videos and not photos, right? I’ve tried clicking all over the Apple website and there’s absolutely no info about it being able to take still photos.
That’s so weird! Seriously, my mind is boggled. B-O-G-G-L-E-D!
I always assumed that video capabilities and still photos go hand in hand in this time of age and era. If this iPod Nano came out like 5 years ago, I can still accept the idea that it can ONLY take videos. But nowadays, any camera-enabled gadgets should be able to take BOTH videos and still photos. Heck even dSLRs nowadays are able to record videos now.
W-e-i-r-d.
So, there. What do you guys think of the new iPod Nano? I went thru a 5 second “Oh-wow-new-iPod-is-out” phase, but after realizing a MAJOR component is missing, my happy balloon just got deflated.
I guess you can say I’m a bit old fashioned as I like my memories stored on still photos rather than videos. Videos capture a little too much memories (like looking like a fool you’ve had too much to drink at a party, hehehe)
So, my initial take on the new iPod Nano with Video Camera: It’s a half-baked, rushed idea. *shrug* It’s like Apple just decided to release the new iPod Nano, just so they can say they released something new. But then, that’s just me.
Anyway, before you influenced by MY opinion, take a look at the other features of the new iPod Nano:
- New anodized aluminum finish in nine new colors
- Larger 2.2 inch display
- FM radio + Live Pause
- Pedometer and Nike + iPod
- Voice Memos
So there you go. What do you guys think?

ok it has a video cam, why not put a still cam too. and what about the new iPod Touch, why does it not have a camera.
I agree. I had the same feeling when I read about it. In fact, I think it would have been better if they put in a still-camera instead of video.
WEIRD Apple people… Lol…
