Pink Glowing Sockets Remind You To Unplug!

Do you know, that idle chargers (meaning they’re not charging anything) left plugged in electric sockets actually contribute to your electric bills? Same as appliances plugged in when not in use!

Yes, they do so it’s better if you unplug your chargers and appliances when you leave the house especially if you’re pretty obsessive-compulsive about your electric bills. Besides, they’re fire hazards as well, so it’s definitely better if you unplug!

Anyway, I found these really cute PINK glowing electrical sockets (designed by Shane Ellis and Terry Brown) that tell you when an outlet is drawing current. It keeps you reminded to unplug your appliances and stuff when not in use!

Pretty cool, I’m sure eco-chicks will love this!
