Buy Sony’s PSP-3000 And Get A Migraine For Free!

I wrote about Sony’s PSP-3000 new and improved LCD a couple of months back.
Apparently, it’s not so great. Check out the image above.
The PlayStation forums are filling up with irate PSP-3000 buyers who are experiencing unexplained scanlines and totally peculiar interlacing problems. As you can see above, the 3000’s screen looks noticeably worse than that of the 2000 – Engadget
Uck, if that doesn’t give you a migraine, I don’t know what else would. Haha.
AND! The worse thing is, a Japanese Sony Computer Entertainment representative has informed Engadget that the interlacing-like lines are a feature of the new LCD and there are no plans on fixing it with an update.
What the hell?!
Oh well, atleast I don’t feel too bad about buying my boyfriend the PSP-2000 for his birthday!

Dang. And I wanted to purchase a Dissidia bundle when it’s available. Disappointing…
