And that’s probably what this clamshell phone is all about. Just being pretty, and it’s all about style. Not much substance, I suppose. Don’t take my word for it, though. That’s my opinion.

But that’s how it goes with luxury, designer phones. They all look nice, but not much features, if you ask me! Anyway, the Sony Ericsson Jalou Clamshell comes in 2 editions: the normal one and the limited edition Dolce & Gabana.

The Dolce & Gabana comes in a pretty shade of Sparkling Rose, and it’s apparently 24k gold-plated. It also comes with a matching Bluetooth headset.

The normal edition will come in 3 colors: Deep Amethyst, Aquamarine Blue and Onyx Black.

Sony Ericsson Jalou Specifications:

• 2 inch display
• 3.2 megapixe camera
• Video recording
• Built-in mirror (I’m guessing the screen turns into a glassy surface)
• FM tuner, multimedia player
• Bluetooth 2.0
• Step counter (you know, counts your steps, health thingie)
• Quad-band GSM / tri-band HSPA connectivity

Prices for the handset haven’t been announced yet. I’m sure the prices will be ridiculously expensive, as usual, haha. What do you expect from a luxury phone, eh?

Really, the first thing that came to mind when I looked at new Nokia 7020 is that it’s a phone that sassy girls use! I really don’t know why, but it just gives off that vibe.
