Oooh.
This is what I want for my next camera (goodbye my Sony DSC T70!). Even better if it’s going to be available in white.
As much as I love my white Sony T70, I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the photos. Especially since my work exposes me to well-taken, sharp photos every single day, just seeing the murky, sort of blurry photos of the T70 made me yearn for the Lumix LX3.
The problem with the LX3, it’s a little too out of my budget. Plus, it’s not stylish enough (yes, that’s a BIG problem right there!), haha.

Will Point and Shoot Cameras Become Extinct

It’s going around the rumor mill. Nokia is set to release a 12MP camera phone next year, by 2010.
With that in mind, do you think point and shoot cameras will eventually become extinct? Or if not extinct, the sales will probably plummet, don’t you think?
Most phones nowadays have atleast 3MP cameras already. I’m sure in a year or two, it won’t be surprising if phones carry atleast 5MP (or 8MP, even!) cameras. If you’re looking for a point and shoot camera that lets you create HD movies, the Canon IXUS 100 IS is a good model to check out.
Usually, you’d want a Flip Mino or the Sony Webbie Camcorder if your priority is taking good videos, but then I’m not so sure how good these camcorders are with taking still pictures.
