White Sony DSC T70. Another one reason why I had a pretty good birthday this year!
Because I’ve been a good girl, I’ve decided to buy myself a camera! And I’m proud to say that this camera was bought with my blogging money! Yay for the camera that blogging bought haha!
Anyway, on to my review!

One reason why I got the Sony DSC T70 was simply because it was WHITE. Haha. You know me and my obsession about white gadgets! I was actually going for a white Nikon Coolpix but it wasn’t so readily available here in the Philippines.

Looks
One reason why I got the Sony DSC T70 was simply because it was WHITE. Haha. You know me and my obsession about white gadgets! I was actually going for a white Nikon Coolpix but it wasn’t so readily available here in the Philippines.

I’m really loving the sleekness of this camera. But one thing I noticed though, it’s VERY hard to hold! While the sleekness is very sexy, it doesn’t help that the cameras body is very slippery! So whether you like it or not, I defintely advise you to make use of the strap that it comes with

Touchscreen
I was surprised that it had a touchscreen interface. Haha, I was so obsessed about getting a white camera that I didn’t really dwell much on the features! I’ve read a couple of reviews (later on when I got the camera…) that the touchscreen was a little bothersome especially for those with big fingers (Good thing I have small fingers!) and to tell you frankly, there’s a bit of truth in that, hehe. Plus the touchscreen isn’t as responsive as I’d like it to be. You have to press once or twice for it to react. But then, that’s how it is with most touchscreen gadgets anyway. I personally would prefer physical keys and buttons over touchscreen but then that’s just me!

Photo Quality and Features
I’m VERY impressed with it’s Image stabilization feature. Here’s a photo to prove my point.

This photo was taken under low light, no flash. A bit grainy but sharp if you ask me, especially since I have a bit of shaky hands.

Another feature that I like about the Sony DSC T70 is you can edit your photos while it’s still in your camera! The T70 comes with a stylus that you can use to draw on the photos!

Sorry for the blurry photo! I didn’t take this! And the subjects were moving

I don’t know if this does justice, but I’m also impressed with it’s Macro setting.

This is my dog’s tail by the way. Taken under very low light.

I haven’t tried using the Face Detection feature, where in the camera automatically clicks when it senses a smiling face. But I’ve read that you have to smile like Joker for it to fire. Hahaha.

All in all, I’m pretty happy with the camera. I was looking for a white, sleek camera that I can tote around to my nights out and the T70 pretty much answered my needs!

Key Features:

8.1 megapixel

3x optical zoom

3200 ISO

Almost non-existent shutter lag!

Where to buy: Kimstore (for my Philippine viewers! She sells a variety of gadgets and her prices are very competitive! Check her out!)
Sony Style – for my International readers.

Price: $279.99
