Ok, let’s admit it. Some of us are pretty addicted to tweeting, so addicted that not only do we tweet every little thing we do, we probably tweet at every place we go.

I, for one, am not really addicted to Twitter (as I prefer Plurk), but seriously, I don’t think I’ve Plurked or Twittered while I’m in the bathroom while taking a shower or doing the deed.

The closest thing I’ve done is probably plurked or twittered something like, “Going to take a shower!” or “I feel like pooping.” Hahaha.

But nothing like, “I’m in the toilet taking a dump!” kind of thing.

Anyway, we shouldn’t really Twitter in the bathroom. You wouldn’t want to end up like Maria Barbu, a 17 year old Romanian girl who died while trying to Twitter in the bathroom. She was apparently in the tub, using her laptop or whatever and most probably tried to plug in her charger, or something.

Yaiks.

Tsk, tsk. We all know that technology and water don’t mix. (Usually!)

I officially joined Twitter on March 13, 2007, approximately 780 days ago, on my personal account. (You can check when you joined Twitter here)

And during that the time, the only one worth following was CNN. And then after a few months, I discovered Plurk and sort of abandoned my Twitter account since I found Plurk more entertaining.

Just recently I’ve rediscovered Twitter again when I created my Gadgenista account  solely for the purpose of sharing my blog updates. But still, I only Twittered rarely because it was bothersome to update both my personal Twitter and Gadgenista at the same! Then thank the geek gods for Splitweet, managing them both because so much easier.

So now apparently Twitter way popular than before and so many celebrities and personalities are actually Twittering!

Do you have multiple Twitter accounts?

If you do, then I have the most awesome website for you!

Splitweet, the Twitter multi account manager!

I’m sure there are a lot of people like me who have two Twitter accounts, a personal one and a business one.

I used to update my personal account with Gadgenista updates, but then I realized that it’s better to make a separate account for Gadgenista updates as my readers probably won’t be too interested to know if I’m in the shower or what kind of food I’m eating at the moment, or which show on TV I’m watching or just any random, mundane thought that enters my mind.

So I created another Twitter account.

But then I realized, it’s so bothersome to keep on logging in and out of both accounts just to update them, so eventually my personal Twitter account became update-less for a while. Until now.

With Splitweet, you just need to go to one website to be able to update multiple Twitter accounts. You just choose which Twitter accounts you will send tweets to! You can send one tweet to one Twitter account or to ALL of your accounts. It even follows direct messages and replies for ALL, too!

Splitweet is also a brand monitor, meaning it follows all the tweets connected to a brand that you’re interested in knowing news about. For example, I want to monitor my brand, Gadgenista. So all tweets with the keyword  “Gadgenista” made by me and other people will be tracked by Splitweet. Pretty convenient!

If you’re the type to abhors spoilers, you’d probably be so angry at the people posting up the news.

But I, on the other hand just love it!

I don’t need to go all the way to Las Vegas, or move from my chair to turn on the TV. All I have to do is log in Facebook and viola, information overload! From photos, to videos to real-time updates.

Ofcourse, it’s not the same as watching it live, but unlike before, all I have to do is go to YouTube.com and see the fight again. I don’t need to wait for hours (or even days!) for the rerun on TV!

As I’ve said in my Facebook status, all I need to do is log in on Facebook to know what’s up with the world!

News about swine flu? I never picked up a single newspaper or watched the news, all I had to do was listen what people had to say over at Twitter and Plurk!

Amazing.

John was so obsessed to the point that Jennifer claimed he was too busy to return her phone calls but had time to update this Twitter page.

I’m finally on Twitter!

Well actually, I’ve been on Twitter for some time now, but it was more of my personal Twitter account. And then I moved to Plurk… but that’s another story.

Sorry Plurk, but apparently Britney Spears is now on Twitter (http://twitter.com/therealbritney)! How can you totally beat that?!?! And she has her own website, too! (BritneySpears.com)

I wonder if she’s really the one updating her Twitter or she has an assistant to do that, haha.

Anyway I have to admit (grudgingly, I never really liked her before) that I’m totally impressed with how Britney Spears managed to get her career back up!

And I’m totally loving her new song, Womanizer, hahaha. Can I just say LSS (Last Song Syndrome)? Oh, and the “I’m-a-woman-hear-me-roar” theme just totally entices the feminist in me, haha.

Oh, and did you guys see the totally shameless ad placement by Nokia on the Womanizer video? Hahaha.

Omigod, you can actually Twitter using your DS Lite, the only thing is, it’s only available in Spanish. Boo.

Oh, well that’s fine. For one thing, I don’t own a DS Lite (yet…!) and I’m too madly in love with Plurk to actually go back to Twitter-ing. Hehe.
