There’s nothing pretty or girly or pink about this gadget that I’m going to blog about, but it’s something every Gadgenista should have, in my opinion!

The Duracell USB Instant Charger is simply a portable back up power for your gadgets, like mobile phones, iPods, cameras and any devices with a mini-USB.

What I really like about the Duracell USB Instant Charger is that it looks really sleek! It looks like you can just slip it inside your pocket and you’re good to go, with extra juice for your gadgets, just in case they run out.

I really believe this is a gadget every Gadgenista should have, especially now that mobile activities such as data surfing can take up so much of your battery life.

This cute little gadget is your typical USB HUB with has three(3) 2.0 USB ports for extra USB slots. It’s also a card reader that supports SD, HS SD, SDHC, mini SD, mini SD IO, MMS and RS-MMC.

But the thing that makes it not so typical is the cute little Hello Kitty figure that sits on top of it. It lights up and changes color when it’s plugged. Cute huh?

I have to warn you thought, before you start squealing and saying, “I WANT, I WANT!”, this Hello Kitty product comes with an expensive price tag of $79.99. It’s not THAT expensive, but compared to any normal, boring USB Hub + card reader combo, there’s a really big difference in price.

Wow,definitely a first.

I knew the time would come when USB flash drives will be like CDs. Disposable and cheap. And I think Boardy will pave the way for that idea.

And I’m sure tree-hugging Gadgenistas will be loving this product as well, as it is made of environment friendly materials and is 100% recyclable.

Here’s a little quirky product from Quirky: The Split Stick.

The Split Stick is basically a double-sided USB thumb drive that allows you to organize your files into two (2) categories. Office and personal, Home and Away, His and Hers or whatever category you can think of.

The casing will be made of anodized aluminum body (think iPod) with a rubber layer for additional protection.

My favorite feature: it will be available in a variety of colors! From orange, blue, red, black, pink, violet, grey and green.

And what’s even better, Quirky will offer an engraving service (for a limited time only), letting you personalize each usb separation just the way you like it.

I personally think the Split Stick is a cool, unique idea (and I’m sure you obsessive-compulsive Gadgenistas love it, too!) but I wish they came in bigger capacities, like maybe a total of 8GB or 16GB! Right now it only comes in 4GB and honestly, that’s really not going to be much of a storage space for me, even if you say it’s for bringing your important files around.

Most USB bracelets I’ve seen are those simple, boring bands that actually remind me of rubber Nike bracelets. Blech.

Just recently Calvin Klein has a released a new eyewear model that Gadgenistas will definitely love, Calvin Klein USB Sunglasses.

The eyewear has a detachable arm which is also a 4GB USB port. The idea of a USB sunglasses is totally beyond geeky (think nerdy eyeglasses), so I’m pleasantly surprised that this USB sunglasses actually looks very chic.

Even fashionistas won’t be embarrassed in wearing something as geeky as this. This product will be available by October this year.

Here’s a nifty little gadget internet addicts (especially Facebook addicts) would loooove to own.

Honestly, I probably have a Facebook addiction. SWEAR! I edit my Facebook status a couple gazillion times a day, spend a lot of time commenting on my friend’s posts, stalking checking up on people, checking out their photos, playing Restaurant City… oh, the list goes on and on and on!

Anyway, this little gadget I’m talking about is the Arimaz’s MyDeskFriend. It’s a little robot penguin (hello, robot penguin, that alone is like geek chic!) that can be integrated into your Facebook profile.

There’s apparently going to be a Facebook game or app that you use to feed the or play with the penguin, think Tamagotchi. Overtime, your MyDeskFriend develops a personality. Cool, huh? Not only that, the penguin actually talks! It can read your Facebook messages, tell you if your friends go online and more!

And guess what? It can also move around your desk!

I’m actually pretty intrigued about this gadget and can’t wait for it when it goes on sale this coming September.
