Wordlocks: No More Forgotten Lock Combinations!

The idea and concept of Wordlocks totally blew me away when I first heard about it.
For one thing, I think it’s an absolutely BRILLIANT idea! Remembering sensible, coherent words is waaaaay easier than remember a bunch of unrelated, random numbers! I can’t count the number of times I couldn’t open my locker in school (hmm, 10 years ago? Hahaha) because I’ve forgotten the combination! Or how many times I couldn’t open my luggage because I’ve forgotten four measly numerals, haha.
Seriously, why did people only think of this now?
Wordlock has three kinds of locks: a bike lock, a padlock and a luggage lock. They all come in different colors, too!
If you want to WIN your own Word Lock, just post a comment and let’s keep the blog conversation rolling!
Three (3) lucky winners will be randomly chosen!
Contest will run starting today until July 25, 2008! Open to US residents ONLY.
If you can’t wait to get your own Word Lock, head on over to the nearest retailers in your area:
- Bed, Bath & Beyond
- ACE
- True Value
- Toy R Us
You can order online, too! [ Wordlock ]
I say, these locks are really great for kids. I mean seriously, do you think a 7 year old kid can remember ‘38479′ (or whatever) as a lock combination? Hahaha.

I totally want this! It’s pink, geeky and perfect for OC people like me
weeeeeeeeee! clever bit! me crazy over pink too! want me one in pink weeeeeeeee!
oh and if ever i win (fingers crossed) but i never win anything anywhere waaaaaaaaaah!
i want the luggage lock (in pink, of course!!)
weeeeeeeeeee
Wow, this is very intelligent!
There are word locks for sale at Handyman in Trinoma.
That’s really clever. All you have to do is remember 4(?) words to unlock your bike lock. It sounds both secure and simple.
I hope I win the bike lock since I have no security for my bike yet.
I would love the pink bike lock! Of course, I would have to make the code anything other than “bike” “ride” and “fuck”
Enter me to win!
nice:) i like it! It is so cute and clever if I have it on my locker im sure i’ll go to my locker every after class^_^ hope i’ll win. anyways how much is that??
Its a very claver and very useful..
Thankyou…

This is a great idea. Especially for kids.
this is so cute!
cute! i need these!!! haha. how much does it cost here?
one thing though, it will be easier to guess one’s password if it’s in letters!
I wanna have one of these! It’s good for people who always forgets padlock combinations plus it comes in different colors making it very fashionable. I love it!
I have 6-8 padlocks that I can no longer use because I’ve forgotten the combinations. I am number challenged. This makes so much more sense to me!
Nice! I like. especially the pink one. It’s so nice to finally have a padlock with letters instead of numbers. And who sed lockers are for lazy people?? for fashionable peeps too!!
Numbers are so hard for me to remember, this would be perfect! Never knew something like this even existed, I’d love to win one of them.
This is just one of those things, that are so simple and I sit here thinking? Why in the world didn’t I think of it? Funny thing is I shop all of those stores and have never, ever seen or heard of this before.
I would love to win one of these for my son! What a great idea!! Thank you for the giveaway!
where can i buy this, if i dont win?
I have one of these, you CAN forget the code, TRUST ME!!!! I forgot it, and now i can’t get the bike lock off my bike!!!
These are awesome!! My junior high daughter would absolutely LOVE this. It’s cute but also functional and easier to remember than random numbers. I hope I win one for her!!!
