Yume Neko: Japan’s Robotic Cat!

I am really amazed at how advanced Japanese technology is.

Seriously, in a matter of years, Japan will be full of robots and it won’t be for long before I, Robot will be a reality.

Aside from creating Asimo (who fell down the stairs during the presentation by the way!), Japan has now created their own robot cat called Yume Neko (”Dream Cat”, ‘yume’ is dream in English while ‘neko’ is cat)!

It still looks very robot like, but I bet after a few versions it’ll look very realistic!

It blinks like a real cat, purrs like a real cat and even screeches like a real cat when you pull its tail! The best part is, it doesn’t scratch back! Nor do you have to feed it, or go clean its kitty litter!

I don’t know why some people find it freaky, but I find it absolutely amazing! I’m all for the robot era!

Hahahahahaa! So geeky!
