Hot Mama to Watch: “Slumdog Millionaire” Actress Freida Pinto

After winning the Golden Globe Award for Best Picture, “Slumdog Millionaire” is a shoo-in to win an Academy Award. I haven’t seen the film yet but both my Mom and husband give it a thumbs up, and I plan to check it out this weekend. Yet I’m already impressed by the film’s lovely female lead, newcomer Freida Pinto.
The 24-year-old actress got her start as a model with Elite Model Management in Mumbai before being discovered by “Slumdog” director Danny Boyle. And if her recent press and red carpet appearances are any indication, Freida still has quite a flair for fashion. (Photo credits: Bauer Griffin)

Freida Pinto was a fabulous fresh face in “Slumdog Millionaire.” She is absolutely stunning and was very believable as her character in the movie. She is very beauitful, as we have all seen through paparazzi photos and golden globe coverage, but Pinto, I feel, is the most is most striking in the actual film. This is the best movie I’ve seen in many years.
