Hot Trend: Blue Suede Sandals at Payless

When I saw them in Payless‘ spring sale advertisement, I knew I had to have them. The “Scarlet Fringe Sandal” comes in black and a unique turquiose blue. After searching for the blue suede sandals at a couple Payless stores, I spotted one pair in my size (9.5) in Manhattan. ”You’re lucky,” the sales clerk told me, adding that most Payless stores are sold out of the trendy style.

Fringe is a hot spring trend and adds a feminine touch to the gladiator sandal trend that some of my Splendicity colleagues seem to loathe. I actually like gladiator sandals as flats — as heels not so much.
