I Want Cat Eyes too! Meowww!

It’s not everyday that I talk make-up on this blog, but I ran across a great post from Christina Jones, who is our fabulous b5media Beauty & Style Channel Editor, where she put up a video post on her eBeauty Daily blog a few weeks ago about Beth Bender Beauty’s Get In Line eye kit.
The post was to demonstrate how to use the eye kit to achieve the “cat eye effect”, sorta similar to Amy Winehouse.
Wait. No, not exactly like Ms. Winehouse, ‘cuz obviously that woman exaggerates and or is just a wee bit too happy with the eyeliner pencil (maybe she applies it while tipsy? Dunno?)
But you get the idea. I actually found a nice one from her Back to Black music video:
Nice! But more than likely professionally applied, non? Personally, my fav cat eye application goes to Angelina Jolie.
Gorgeous. Say whatever you want about her and/or her personal life, but I love this woman and I love how she (or her makeup artist) applies her eyeliner.
I try my best to get it to look like hers, but I can never get both eyes to look the same. Therefore, I will definitely be investing in the Beth Bender kit. Check out Christina’s post and video about it.

Tiff, I agree that Amy Winehouse’s is a hot steaming mess, but A. Jolie’s isn’t bad at all. Hers is more natural (and what I would aim for) but to each her (or HIS) own! LOL!
